I entered what I thought was a ligitimate contest for poetry. I had been informed that my poem was picked as one to the finalist for the contest. I was invited to go to the contest and present my poem to other poets, and receive my award.

The book that my poem is suppose to be published in, isn't even out on the market. No well known book stores even heard of the company, nor have they even heard of the book in question (Eternal Portraits Series).

I was approached with several letters and emails to send in 195.00 to gaurantee my spot on the podium and my prize. The book would cost me an additional 50.00 if I wish to receive it.

I am so upset, it took me a long time to get the courage to place something I wrote for others to see. Just to discover that this is just a scam.
