I bought a lPolaroid FLM-373B LCD TV last march and now it is dead. One month after the year warranty is past. If I would have known I would have got the extended warranty. After everything I have read I now know that it is right around the normal time they fail. The blue light comes on and flickers, but no picture.

I'm not sure what part that is failing on all theses TV's but it seems to be the the same problem with all of them.

I think I'm screwed,

Right ! Polaroid TV's are pretty much the worst one the market. Check out the electronic and HIDEF websites. Polaroid, Westinghouse, RCA, and several no-name sets are all JUNK. In this age, it pays to check out every big ticket item you intend to purchase. Some brand names that used to rank on top, are now on the bottom. Also, check out the extended warranties, as many of these are worthless, as well. Ask questions...after all, it's YOUR money.
