In early 2006 I purchased a MySpace clone script from this company. Prior to purchase I sent many pre-sales questions by email and this company responded with "this script is our own custom written application". So I placed an order for $149.97 and received the script by email. I installed the script to find out that it was non functioning and their support never assisted in any functional way. I went to others online for support and quickly found out that this company has had problems with many other people and that the scripts where not of their own creation as they stated but instead they where various open source scripts they combined (combined in a non-working manner). I sent all this information to my credit card company and they investigated the problem and determined that the sale was for faulty and misrepresented product thus reversed the charges back to my credit card. I thought this was all over then I start receiving legal threats by email and an invoice sent to my paypal account in the amount of $750.00 (explain that amount? they never did) and I just ignored this harassment.

Now in 2007 I get a phone call and a letter from a collections agency called Ficka & Associates (who also happens to be listed on ripoffreports.com a couple times for FDCPA Violations In An Attempt To Collect A Fraudulent And Non-Existent Debt) claiming they are collecting for Popscripts.com in the amount of $149.97. After that phone call I pulled my archived files and this current information and sent it all to my attorney and after a discussion with him we plan to take extreme action if I receive any further harassment.

My warning to all is before purchasing scripts from any company besides asking the company itself questions about their product which will be biased and sometimes false be sure to ask other about the product in forums and look for information on the product in search engines also.
