Popular Club Unfair Treatment To Club Secretaries Who Work Hard For No Pay and Unfair Treat to My Clients Garfield New Jersey

I have been a secretary for about five or more years. When I first started out I would collected the payments and mail them in. As time went by, between the post office and Popular Club clients payments were continually been lost and when found posted late, making the client to appear to have late payments. I was eventually assigned an advisor because of constant complaints of phoning in trying to handle payments and concerns. The advisor at the time advised my to start emailing in the clients payments via email. As my club grew the more payments/money were being handled.

I have been a Platium Secretary for a while, and I feel as though I should have an advisor handling my club. Especially since I am making them money and we as secretries do not get paid any money for anything. We earn 10% of each order to spend on there merchandise only.

They recently, about a month or so ago had a newsletter that came out, that we secretaires could use our rewards to pay on our open payments books. I started using my rewards to pay on my books, then last Friday, 28 May 04, was told that I can no longer use my rewards in which I earned as a secretary. They also want me now to no longer email my payments in. Mind you they waited until I was out in the street collecting, and emailed me.

By emailing the payments all I needed was the account number, routing number, the financieal instituation address, the amount of the check, and the check number, so therefore, I did not have to have the check physically in my possession. I have clients that just phone in checks numbers because it is more convienent for both of us, they are out of town, and less time consuming as far as travel.

I set and type up all clients concerns, and payments by books, and stubs, then email it in and my advisor Donna Brezel of Team 4 would call me faithly every Monday to discuss the email, and apply the payments. Well I did my normal email, emailed it in, but did not receive a phone call. When finally got a response after leaving numerous messages for Donna to return my call on 1 Jun 04, that she no longer handled my club. She didn't give me a courtesy call, she get get on the phone to tell me this, just had whomever answered the phone tell me this.

I immidiately called Ms. Kathy King, whom is the Senior Vice President of Customer Service. She was out of her office so her associate Carol, stated that she would have someone call me. Well its another day, and no one has called, no one has applied the clients or my money to our accounts.
