Please be AWARE when you purchase furniture online, it is not a good idea. There are tons of fake sites scamming for your hard earned money. I also most fell in the trap but with hours of due diligence, I was able to avoid the pot hole. I had been searching for a piece of modern furniture, only certain stores had the item I wanted, so I narrowed my choices down by price as most of us do.

Well, after researching many online furniture stores I found a couple with a great price, however upon further research, they treated their customers poorly or were just a fake store. (Why is Google allowing all these scam sites anyway? Just a though.

So, I came to my last choice of websites, by process of elimination, the item was more money, but I hadn't saw anything negative online in regards to the website www.furnituretent.com so I was excited to purchase, at the top of the site, it said they had a price match discount Guarantee, so I emailed about it.

I was called by a lady with very bad English, she said; she could not do it, because the other website was charging for shipping, so I sent her another link, with a slightly higher price than the previous site, she came back with another excuse, saying this time, because that was the 2nd website's sell price, they couldn't match it. So I sent her a 3rd website, link for the exact same item, that was not on sale this time. She tells me they can not price match for the lower price, because they would loose to much money with free shipping. This is NOT your store policy at all! Why can these companies just make up rules as they go along? But this turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me.

So I start looking at more websites, for the same item. I come across another site that is very similar to the one, who would not stand by their own policy. Again with even more research I came to find out that Metro Furniture, Furniture Tent, and www.postfurniture.com ARE ALL THE EXACT SAME PEOPLE!!! Next I started to do even more digging, it turns out they sell damaged furniture, that they tell the customers are brand new, and once you return it you are out of at least 25% of your money for restocking, and the shipping cost, if outside of California. They Have done this to hundreds of customers, and it so sad to hear all  these horror stores. This is their game, their scam and con. They also go on review sites, because of the negative feedback from customers and write, 5 star reviews, about how great they are. ALL A BUNCH OF BS.

WARNING DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM THESE CRIMINALS!!!! THEY WILL PROMISE AND REFUND AND WON'T GIVE YOU THE MONEY BACK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON'T CARE A THING ABOUT YOU! THANK GOD I DID NOT GET PLAYED FOR A SUCKER.

Here are some more of the other websites and numbers they go by.

I WAS NOT "RIPPED OFF" BY THIS VENDOR, BUT THIS VENDOR IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY, AND APPEARS TO DO BUSINESS UNDER OTHER NAMES.

On January 26, 2014, I purchased a coffee table from postfurniture.com, an online retailer that is based in El Monte, California.  The price was reasonable and the quoted shipping time was “seven to fifteen days”.  They billed my PayPal account through Adarn Inc (adarn.com).

On February 7, 2014, twelve days after the order was placed, I followed up with the vendor’s website and learned that the order had still not been shipped.  I contacted the vendor who apologized for the delay, and assured me that the order would be shipped out in the next five days and offered me a $30 credit.  I decided to give the vendor a break.

On February 12, 2014, seventeen days after the order was placed, I followed up with the vendor’s website and learned that the order had still not been shipped.   I contacted the vendor to follow-up what happened.  The vendor apologized and said it will be going out the following day.  I decided to give the vendor another break, but I made it very clear that if it did not ship out the following day by the close of business hours, that I would be cancelling my order.

On February 13, 2014 at the close of business day, I followed up with the vendor’s website and learned that the order had still not been shipped.  Furthermore, the vendor had still failed to credit $30 to my account (which was paid through PayPal).   I had a bad feeling about this vendor and decided it was time to end the relationship, request my money back immediately, and file a PayPal Dispute.  I did not feel I could trust this business, and needed documentation.

The vendor made two efforts to call me by phone (which I ignored), and also by e-mail.  They offered a $50 credit if I would give them a third chance.  I responded to the vendor’s e-mail and made it clear that I wanted a refund immediately, and that I was not interested in any further negotiation.

The vendor eventually refunded my money, about two days from my initial request.  However, this required several e-mail exchanges and follow-ups between the vendor and PayPal.  This included a warning that I was considering going to the Better Business Bureau, the California Attorney General’s Office and local law enforcement (El Monte P.D., and L.A. County Sheriff’s Office).

I made the mistake of doing unknowingly doing business with this company this morning, which prompted me to write this report as warning.   This company has many aliases.  Postfurniture.com is registered to the following individual-

John Yueh

9909 Valley Blvd

El Monte, CA 91731

As of the writing of this review, I searched whois.com/whois and learned that Mr. Yueh (with the same address on many of the websites) is affiliated with the following website ADARN.COM, BLACKSHINING.COM (non-furniture store), DEAL-HOUR.COM, FLATFAIR.COM (non-furniture store), FURNITURECHECK.COM, FURNITUREHUBS.COM, UNOFURNITURE.COM,  PRIMEELEGANCE.COM, SHOPPERSFURNITURE.COM, SHOPWISEFURNITURE.COM, SISTERFURNITURE.COM,  WENDYUSA.COM.

As of writing of this review, I searched kepler.sos.ca.gov/ and learned that the above address is registered to Adarn Inc, which appears to be the corporate parent of all of these entities.
