This dealer had adds on a web site called atvtraderonline.com. The adds were for Polaris ATV's. I called and spoke with a salesman, Ed Dye. I asked if the adds were correct and he said they were. I asked him if he had the units I was interested in and he said yes. I work in Denver and decided to take off work early to purchase two of the ATV's before they were sold. I left work 3 hours early to get to Greeley from Denver in time to arrange the deal before they closed. I called Ed again in route, telling him I was on my way. On arrival Ed showed me the ATV's in question. I agreed to purchase 2 of the ATV's at the add price. He looked at the add I had brought with me and took it back to his sales manager. He returned and told me they couldn't honor the add price and the ATV's would be substantially more for me to purchase. I told him no thanks and left the dealership. The adds were posted on November 13th & I came in on November 14th. We spoke on the phone twice about the price prior to my traveling to Greeley. They should have told me the adds were wrong before wasting my time and money to travel that far. I believe they do this in hopes that you will buy the vehicle at the higher price. I lost 3 hours of work income and drove over 140 miles round trip because of there false advertising and lies.

I did recieve an email from the manager making excuses for the adds. See below.

This letter is in response to your email concerning the Polaris ATVs that were unintentionally advertized for prices, which at that time, could not be honored. It is our sincere intention to run our business with the utmost integrityand honesty. However, sometimes, and very rarely things like this can happen and some details fall through the cracks. Namely, the details are that this particular Promotion had expired and our advertizing agent did not pull the promotional AD as requested. I want to apologize that this mistake inconvienenced you.
Sincerely,Terry Henze

I personally do not believe his excuse. His salesman Ed confimed the prices were good and accurate in the adds prior to my going up there. If the adds were wrong then why wouldnt he have told me that on the phone the 2 times I talked to him prior.
