Powerwasher - FNA Group Junk Product Elk Grove Village Illinois

I purchased the Powerwasher model PW1750 back in 2007 and have had nothing but problems with it.  I'm surprised they are still in business, after reading all the other negative comments online; I wish I'd seen them before my purchase!  This piece of junk has never worked correctly.  First it was the GFCI switch, which they replaced, but the new one never worked correctly and I'd have to place it a certain way to get it to work.  The spray nozzle stopped working and they sent me a replacement, but the new one sprayed water out from the sides also...which soaked me everytime I used it.  Then it started constantly tripping the circuit breaker.  I haven't even used this thing once a year...I've prob used it 5 times in my life because of the problems.  I was shocked to drag it out of storage and it worked for 3 whole hours yesterday.  However, apparently that's it's limit, cause this morning, after tripping the circuit breaker, I reset it and plugged it in and heard a POP from the machine.  I think it died (thankfully!  Now I can buy one that works from a reputable outfit!)  Very disappointing that this manufacturer is allowed to stay in business without criminal charges because what they're doing is fraud - selling crap that doesn't work.  When I called customer service today, they said I could pay $40 to have UPS deliver it to their IL office where they'll look at it and charge me labor/parts.  I told them I'd drop it off myself, and they said that wasn't allowed.  It had to be shipped in.  They said my problem was caused by: leaving it in a cold garage all winter (I kept it in my basement though), using an extension cord (I used the heavy duty yellow ones, which they recommended when I first encountered problems the first year), or using a receptacle inside the house (they said the power is different going to the outside receptacles!)  However, I've used receptacles inside the house, inside the garage, outside the house, sometimes an extension cord, sometimes a GFCI outlet.  Bottom line, the customer svc rep in the Carolinas hasn't a clue and is reading from a script, blaming the customer for not using it "correctly."  Don't buy from them!!
