To make sure I was using my new anti-aging cream,Precious Skin RX, correctly, I decided to read how others had used it successfully. The search on the internet led me to a report on this website regarding the scam from Precious SkinRX. I decided to call the company to see if I too had been scammed similarly to others. I consider myself to be very diligent in looking for this type of thing when ordering a "trial" product. Yep, I was scammed too! When I paid for and signed up for this "free" trial, no where did I read that I was signing up for an ongoing supply and that I would be charged for not only the subsequent supplies but the trial too. The scam is.....(as I understood from the slick fast talking customer service person) - you sign up for a trial and pay a small shipping and handling fee. You receive a trial amount of precious SkinRX in duplicate. You will receive on going 30 day supplies which you are automatically charged for and are also charged for the trial - despite the fact that when you ordered the trial, none of this was disclosed in any form that a normal person could see or understand, if it was disclosed at all! If you are like me and lucky to read about the scam, you call to inquire and cancel any subscription. However, to cancel you either have to pay full price of the trial or return the unused portion of the trial and pay a restocking fee. So much for a free trial. Free? Trial? Arguing with the extremely persistent customer service person, I stated that I would send the trial back, I would dispute any restocking fees or subsequent charges with my credit card company, and would be reporting this scam as others had already done. I was given a return authorization number and told again about the restocking fee. I hung up. Approximately 2 minutes later, I received a call back from Precious SkinRX telling me that I could keep the trial, would not be charged restocking fees, and the subscription was cancelled. I think rip off reporting such as this might be the reason this company made things right with me. However, if I had not read about this scam, if I had not called, if I had not been insistent, I would have been more of a victim. Beware of this trickery.
