Long story short I was also a victim of Chris Sanchez, if that's even his real name. This was a while back when I was young naive and desperately needed a car. I didn't have the credit to finance a car nor anyone to cosign for me so I started searching cragislist to see what my options were in finding a car. I came across Preferred Auto Managment which had the nicest and newest cars compared to everything else I was coming across. I called, made an appt. to have them come and show me a car which I decided to get. The way it worked was that I would provide a sizable down payment and then make monthly payments. I put $3000 down and had payments in the $500 range on a Nissian Murano newer model at that time. After a few days my boyfriend at the time wanted something with more room so we went to their office which was off of Speer Blvd at the time and we traded the Murano in for an H2 Hummer in Burnt Orange and gave Chris another $2000 down plus increased payments to $650. I started getting a horrible feeling about the whole deal when Chris refused to give me any receipts showing I had paid him. I paid him all in cash. He wrote up the contracts each time but never wrote up any receipts and when my boyfriend asked me if I had got a receipt and I told him no he told me to call and get a receipt. When I did ask for a receipt Chris flat out refused. That's when I started getting really worried. I just kept driving the car because I needed to get around.

Well, two weird things happened. One I got pulled over and when the cop ran the license plate he said it wasn't coming back registered to any vehicle at all. I told him how I got the car and explained the whole situation. He ended up letting me go, but then a few days later I'm driving around and all of sudden the radio shuts off the music and a phone starts ringing through the onstar navigation. I answer it and it's a woman saying that this is her car and she wants me to stop driving it and return her car. I told her I had just given this guy thousands of dollars to drive this car and I've been making the payments. She told me this was her leased car and that the bank had notified her that payments were not being made and I was also putting too many miles on the car. I was never told I was taking over a lease. It was probably written somewhere In the 20 pages of fine print, but I never sat and read through the book of contracts he had me sign. I'm in Las Vegas at the time and told her there's no way I can drive out to Colorado to drop her car off. I had already spent all of my money on this car and moving. I was broke and living day to day. I ended parking the car at parking garage, leaving the keys inside, locked it up, and she flew out to Vegas to go get it. I still suspect she may have had something to do with the whole scam as well. She ended up paying for a hotel for me for a week since I had no more money left, living in Vegas, and trying to find work. When I called Chris to tell him what happened he went ballistic and got really defensive on me and my boyfriend saying he would fly out to Vegas and beat up my boyfriend and wanted to find out where I worked so he could come see me. He blamed the whole thing on us saying we broke the contract because we were not to leave the state with the car. I asked if he could just refund $1000 since we both had absolutely no money and were about to be homeless if it weren't for the lady that owned the car paying for a week hotel. He said he wasn't giving any money back at all. So he basically made about $7000 from me in 1 month and I was left in the end with no car and no money.

It was the worst feeling in the world being ripped off like that and I still have issues letting it go because I feel justice has never been served for me.
