I strongly suggest you research this company prior to doing business.  I checked with the better business bureau, the consumer affairs division of Florida, and the internet and I found over 30 complaints against this company so far.  I recently bought a car from a Hollywood Dealership to build my credit.  It was supposed to be a "buy here-pay here" financing deal. I initially was told that my payments would be reported to the Credit Agencies.  Not so.

Also, they told me that after I made a number of payments in good standing, there could be a chance that they would sell my loan to another company.  Not so.

Without informing me, they sold my loan immediately to Premier Partners, Inc.  I then received a  payment book from Premier Partners out of Tamarac.  I had no idea who they were.

I sent my first payment on time and recieved absolutely no response or verification that it was received.  No verbal or written verification either.  My second payment was by UPS next day air.

The next day, I got a very strange call from Mary, the office manager, claiming that my payment wasnt in the package and that the package was opened and resealed.

I felt that there was something fishy going on.  I immediately contacted UPS. When I contacted  the Distribution Manager for South Florida, Kay, she got the UPS driver on the phone with us who delivered the package an hour earlier. He specifically said that the package was not opened or tampered with when he delivered it.   This conflicted with Mary's statement. I immediately filed a report with the Police.   When I contacted Mary again, she was extremely rude. And she had the nerve to claim that the payment wasnt sent.

I told her I would continue making payments but wanted to get the police findings and resolve the situation on this particular payment.   In her extremely rude manner, she said, "there was nothing to resolve."   Based on my research, I am finding that many others have had the same experience.  Because some have new or bad credit doesnt mean that you can be treated in  this manner and  be scammed or ripped off.

And I found out today she charged off my car.   I have met with my attorney and I intend to file a lawsuit against Mary and Premier Partners for damages, fraud and theft.  When I asked for her superiors, I received the same answer, that there are investors.   If anyone out there has experienced similiar situations, please contact me ASAP.  Do not be intimidated by them.   You can report them to the consumer affairs division in Broward County and Palm Beach County Florida, along with the Florida Dept. of Consumer Affairs, the better business bureau. These departments can be found online.

I too was a victim of Premier Partners

Hi there,

So sorry you went through this.  It's a shame this company is still doing shady business.  I went through this with them in 2005.  You can read my report here http://www.ripoffreport.com/car-financing/premier-partners/premier-partners-drive-today-78qaa.htm Funny they told you that your loan would be sold to a financing company.  In my situation, the buy here pay here I purchased my car from was Drive Today Auto Sales in Lantana, FL.  The owner of Premier Partners, owned the car dealership..which is why you make your payements to Premier instead of directly to the dealership.  Sounds like your dealership in Hollywood is the same.

They went as far as repo'ing the car after my mechanic drove it to them to make sure repairs were done properly after the hurricane, so Nationwide could pay the repairs in full.  They put the entire balance of the car (which was a salvage car they sold to me) on my credit.  I immediately contacted the BBB and the Consumer Affairs Department in Broward County which found they were doing fradulant financing as well (tabulating the financing incorrectly, against state law). They even tried to bribe me after putting the car on my credit by telling me to let Nationwide finish the repairs on the car and they would remove all traces of the car from my credit.

Needless to say, in my report, William the dealership operator for Drive Today Auto Sales in Lantana, FL, tried to throw me under the bus in his rebuttal, however he put his foot in his mouth when I pointed out he sold my car without notifying me which is against the law. No response from him after that and the car came off my credit.  They messed with the WRONG person when they tried to scam me.  Even the workers @ Drive Today Auto Sales told my mechanic that Drive Today and Premier Partners do that to customers all the time and no one ever confronts them about it.

I wish you luck in straightening this out. Keep on them and your victory will prevail.
