I was targeted by Premier Savings because I am drowning in debt. I was told that Premier Savings would , for the fee of $429.00, consolidate three of my credit card balances ,$400.00 per month at averaage of 19 to 27 %, into a payment of $202.00 per month at 0% interest. If I wasn't satisfied with the results, I can request a refund. Sounded like a good deal at the time.

Premier Savings sent me a nifty packet of information which contained charts and colored graphs, information on how to create a monthly budget and a template chart to do so.There were instructions to call the 800 number to expedite the process.

As instructed I called the 800 number and a machine told me to leave my name and phone number and I would receive a call in return, with further instructions. Three days later my call was returned, my information verified, and I was given a phone number to CitiBank to apply for a CitiBank Master Card. Upon approval, I would be able to transfer my other balances at 0% interest for one year and 3% interest after that. I applied, I received a letter of rejection. I called Premier Savings. Again, I left a message to return my call . Three days later, my call was returned, and I was told to keep the rejection letter. Upon receiving three such letters, I would be able to request a refund. Not that it would likely happen, of course. I was told to call back in two weeks. Time goes by, I called, 3 days later, my call was returned and I was given the phone number for Peoples United Bank. Again, to request a credit card with 0% interest for 6 months and 8% interest thereafter. Again, I received a letter of rejection. The pattern continued for the Barklays Bank Good Sam credit card. This time an e-mail notice of rejection. I printed the page and called the 800 number, left a message, received return call, and was told I needed first a hard copy rejection letter from Barclays Bank Good Sam credit card, as an e-mail would not be accepted as proof of rejection. I requested a hard copy report, waited patiently for two weeks and when I received the letter , was instructed to write a request for a refund along with the letters of rejection.I did as was instructed and waited.

I received a phone call from Premier Savings and was STRONGLY CONSIDER a debt consolidation course instead of the refund. After 45 minutes of barely civil conversation I was told that my refund of $171.40 would be issued on the 18th of September.( This was said on the 3rd of September ) I informed her that my refund should be for $429.00. She informed me that Premier Savings was keeping 60% for their shipping and processing fee.

That was my experience with Premier f#%*&@g Savings Corporation.

Did you get your refund?

I also dealt with this company and I also got charged the $439, which I was told that I could cancel their services anytime, which of course you would think that you would get your money back. They make it sound like you're pre-approved for a credit card with a large limit and that's the part that gets you, being able to consolidate your debt into one credit card and make lower payments with a lower interest. Then once you're signed up they tell you to apply for a credit card from different companies.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I didn't like idea of having to apply for credit cards that I could have found myself without paying, so I asked for my refund. It was numerous phone calls back and forth, but every one of them told me I don't qualify for a refund because they can help me save $1500 or more. I just stopped trying to ask for my refund and I just reported them to BBB. So I looked at their BBB report and they have an F, with lots of complaints about misrepresentation of offer and refund issues. Anyway, whoever said BBB doesn't help is not true, I just got my full refund today, and the company first contacted me sometime in November, so I signed up around mid November. So I'm not sure if you tried, but maybe you should contact BBB.

I recently have had the same experience with this company.  I have received 3 denial letters and was advised that I would receive a refund.  They also referred me to another agency, Real Solution Center, to help with lowering my interest rates.  I contacted this agency and I am in the process of getting these rates lowered.  I was to receive my refund check at the end of August.  Two weeks into September I hadn't received the refund, so I called.  It took several calls and finally I got a call back.  This snooty woman Barbara did the call back and informed me that since I am utilizing the Real Solution Center I WILL NOT be receiving my refund.  Regardless of the fact that I was told to call these people for further assistance and that I would in fact get this refund even if I did or did not call them.  Since I have a lifetime contract with Premier Savings I will be able to utilize them after my debt is paid off to get a lower interest rate credit card, so I am no longer eligible for the refund.  Unless the Real Solution Center is unable to help me then I have to call them again.  They are a ridiculous company and I do not understand how they are getting away with what they are doing.  I will be contacting the better business bureau (BBB) regarding my experience.  I have documented all calls with dates, times, and whom I spoke with.  I hope you get your refund and I think you should also contact the BBB.
