On Thursday, October 14th, I filled out several online applications to receive a $1500 loan to get thru a tight situation. Friday, October 15th, Angie Smith called me and stated that I was approved, however the smallest loan they offer was $5,000. Fine by me... I could always put the extra money in savings and use it to pay back the loan all the while earning interest myself.

The phone connection wasn't very good so I had a hard time understanding the entire conversation. I was told that I would need to fax a copy of my Social Security card, my drivers license, and a copy of my most recent paystub. Before we ended the call I asked again for the name of her company, and she stated it as Premier One Bank. She also gave me a number to call her back as 800-449-5977 and a fax number of 800-691-7091. Later that day I tried searching for the phone numbers and the bank name over the internet but could not find anything.

Today, October 18th, I did fax the copy of my Social Security card, drivers license, and most recent paystub to the fax number Angie Smith provided. After returning home I attempted to call Angie Smith back to complete the application over the phone. I called 3 times and each time I asked to be transferred to Angie Smith I would get disconnected. The 4th time I got an answering machine which stated the company name as Premier Solution. With this name - I did a search on the internet and unfortunately ended up here on Rip-off Report.com!

Fortunately I discovered this company is a scam before handing over money as some other people have, BUT I was really looking forward to this loan to help out right now. Also - I am worried about anyone using the information I did fax. I will be keeping a close eye on my credit report and monitoring my bank account even more closely.

"loan" details... come to this site before sending money

AUTHOR: Jeremy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 27, 2004

So - I finally got some phone time with Angie Smith. I knew at this time tho that this was all a scam and there was no money coming for me .. every. But - just for fun and to get more information I played along for several more phone calls.

We discussed the details of the loan. The first time I got ahold of her, she put me on hold to go get my 'paperwork' .. and I got disconnected, a common thing here it seems. So I called back several hours later, she apologized and started on with the details.

For a 5,000 loan I (with my very negative credit history) would get a 4.0 percent interest rate! Then - as 'insurance' I would only need to send in $900, which if I got behind would pay my payments up to 4 months, OR if I lost my job or became disabled it would pay the loan off. At this point she said I would need to fill out and sign the application - I have her my email address so that she could email the forms to me. The next day (when she said she'd email them) they never arrived. About a week later she left a voice mail for me - stating that she needs to get ahold of me to finish the paperwork. I am not returing her call.

Fortunately - I was able to get some money from my parents and am no longer in such a financial bind. And hopefully I didn't cause myself any future headaches with the information I did already send to this company.

I hope everyone else will take the iniative to come to this site before sending money to this scam!
