I have worked in this business for a few years now and finally got the ropes of how it all works. I use to model for Premiere Promotions out of Houston, Texas and then began using other agencies. While being represented by Premiere Promotions I would get booked for the same jobs from other agencies and the price they were paying was so much more than the Premiere Promotions job was, so I started to ask questions. The legitimate agents were very honest with me and told me that the client would pay $150 an hour and then you would have to minus the 25% agency fee which is understandable. Come to find out that the owner of Premier Promotions would tell you that it was $75 an hour and then take 25% on top of that.  I think its pathetic how someone like her would take advantage of models who didn't know how it worked. I would like everyone to know that there are other agencies out there that are legitimate and honest and you don't have to go to her. I bet you if the IRS went through her books they would find quite a few fraudulent transactions. BEWARE people SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST~!

In response to this erroneous report

AUTHOR: Premiere Promotions, Inc. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, April 04, 2011

Premiere Promotions is a professional, licensed and bonded promotional agency. We hire models that work many promotional jobs across the Lone Star State. All for different rates depending on experience, hours worked, job description, etc. If you agreed to work for a certain flat fee or hourly rate, that is what you are paid.  Every agency charges their clients different rates for print work, fashion shows, liquor promotions, etc. Some models are quick to support hearsay from other competing agencies about the rates they charge their clients and compare them to what we charge. This complaint is clearly an example of a model who was happy to work for a said rate but was subsequently convinced later that she should have been be paid more for the same job because that is what this new agency told her. Models are not involved or privy to Premiere's agreements with it's clients or payment contracts. Premiere Promotions would like to be informed of the client or representatives that are discussing confidential information with former models, as well as which former model is reporting erroneous and slanderous information about our agency.
