I found this company on the internet through 123Movers. Like many others, this company's representative did an over the phone inventory. Estimated weight for move was low, which I pointed out twice to the salesman, but he told me it didn't matter, the low per pound price applied over or under weight. Then after the truck was loaded, the shipping supervisor tried to double the per pound price on the weight over estimate. This eventually got straightened out, and they made good on the original price, but not without a fight. The salesman also gave me a low ball packing estimate of $600 without clearly explaining additional per box/item packing charges in advance. The actually packing charge, with supplies, was over four times the estimate. They charge an exorbitant rate for the box, then charge an exorbitant rate to fill it. For example, they will charge $6.00 for the box and $9.00 to fill it. That adds up. And you don't get to see those rates until the driver shows up with all the paperwork.

Meanwhile, the driver was consistently hours late for packing, pickup and delivery. He would call me and tell me to meet him at 8 o'clock and he wouldn't show up until noon. At one point he called me at 10:20 a.m. and said he would be there in 20 minutes. He arrived at noon. The driver arrived at my home to pack up my household goods without sufficient or proper packing materials. I was promised my own truck from pick up to delivery. The truck arrived with another's household goods on board, necessitating outside carriage of my goods, in the rain. The movers did not reassemble furniture at destination. After unpacking, there were more damaged goods than on any previous move. And on and on. I have moved many times over the past twenty years and this was the absolute worst, most appalling move I have had.

I strongly recommend staying away from this company. It is one of the 97% of moving companies that give the other 3% a bad name.
