I received a Payment demand Letter from this fraudulent company demanding payment on a Payday Loan that I settled with a legitimate firm. The letter stated they would file criminal charges if I didnt pay off a settlement on a balance of $2040 for a $300 loan I took in 2012. They state they are located in Atlanta at PO Box SL6696 tlanta GA 30303 but that I needed to either do an immediate check by phone or send a money order to a PO Box 311073 Houston TX 77231. I did a check with the Georgia SOS and the company is registered at a small residence in Fayetteville Ga. Mr Eric Foster called me from 404 551 3471. When I called back someone answered "legal Department" when i pressed for information the Legal Department claimed to be an answering service and could not give me any information. Do not be fooled by this Scam Companys very official looking letter. The original company I paid showed me proof that they own the debt and the original creditor says they have never heard of these scammers. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! They cannot do anything to you. I Have filed complaints with the Attorney General and the FTC on this scam company.
