My Daughter and her two friends attended Press Plays Event (Philadelphia )
I am very taken back by what a terrible event this is. My daughter paid for a MIXED meet greet ( some mixture of boys names that i can not even pronounce ) ...some crazy $300 ticket . When she entered her best friends were treated terrible and accused of not having the correct ticket .
The rude staff which appeared to be just young teenagers not a qualified staff member or adult to be found ...would NOT allow her to meet who she paid for.
I have never witnessed such a scam in my life. To host a event and charge over $300 for a ticket and them question my daughter as if she were a criminal is unaccpetable.
These tours should be ashamned of themselfs - charging young fans crazy fees to meet the very boys who are FREE on the internet.
Press Play was a terrible experience and we will not be attending another event after that !

I do not know who Ann Convill is but I assure you I am speaking of your event .
Are you the CEO? Where were you when 15 years olds were telling parents they are in charge?
I want a refund and have reported you and your business to the Better Business Bureau
I dont know what kind of business you or this Ann Convill runs but I do know Press Play is cheating young fans out of BIG Money and I will not allow it !
Get your act together people- It is our kids who fund your business not the otherway around.

I want to point out a few things. Our event was held at the Sheraton Valley Forge. We had the owner (myself), my stage manager (Jimmy), Hunter (my merch manager) and we utilize a volunteer system to check in our attendees. We had two check in tables at 930 am (we started our show 30 mins early). We do not have a $300 "mixed" ticket. Our tickets are $40 to $250. And, everyone that was scheduled to appear, did appear. We started our show early and we extended our show by 30 mins at the end. Fortunately, nothing in this report is accurate.
Unfortunately, if you look at RipOffReport.com all the reports are based on the Philadelphia shows. We have been harassed by an individual named Ann Conville. Ann has written all of the RipOffReports on there. Ann used to own a competing tour called "JamTour" she changes the name of the operation every 6 months due to legal issues (she currently has 20+ judgements against her - you can just Google her name). Our tour is an excellent tour and the fact that we produce two shows a month proves that.
The report is mispelled. The name of our tour is PressPlay (a single word) not PressPlay. Please go view all the previous rip-off reports you will see the same spelling errors, the same diction, etc. We have a video that we'll be posting of the event up on our YouTube channel and you can see for yourself how amazing and well run it was.
I apoloigze that anyone reading this has to endure this. We had hoped this would have gone away a long time ago.
I generally ignore these, but I decided that it was time to defend ourselves from this malicious and libelous attack.
