Despite a signed contract, after almost 4 months of bugging them, they came back and said "too bad, so sad we won't do the work!"  This is ridiculous!  I have a signed contract with these guys and yet they refused to do the work agreed to?  Turns out that their "sales" team must be under bidding work as, when I pushed them, they said that the work would be too expensive for them to do at the contract price.  I offered to work with them, but they just said they wouldn't do the work!  When they bid the job they kept saying their internal staff would do this work - but I think, reading between the lines, they were subing this work out vs. doing it with their own employee's? 

In checking around after they refused to do the work, I checked with AngiesList and they have stopped recommending them as well - said there were too many complaints! 

If you want work done on your home, find another contractor who can stand behind their contracts.  What good is a contractor who can just walk away from their commitments after stringing someone along for months - which is what they did to me!
