I hired Prestige & Executive Limousine company (a company that also owns a bed and breakfast) out of Hortonville, WI for my wedding that took place in Appleton, WI. I purchased their package that included 3 hours of service for a total of $498.75. I paid in full using my debit card, and the full payment was deducted from my checking account on 5/11/05.

However, upon checking my online bank statement on June 21st, I noticed that Prestige withdrew an extra $225 from my account on 6/19/05, even though I paid in full in May. I was glad I looked thoroughly at my bank statement and noticed! When I called Prestige to get everything straightened out, they told me I had to send them my bank statement so that they could see that they charged me again, "just to verify." Though I work at a bank and thought it was an odd request for someone to have to send their bank statement to a company, I sent it after crossing out all of my account information, etc.
After not hearing back from Prestige a week and a half later, and still not having the $225 credited back to my account, I called again and left a voicemail. I kept leaving voicemails once a week for a month afterwards since no one attempted to call me back.

Finally, my mother called Prestige & Exec Limos after 5 weeks of not having the $225 credited back to my account, and told them that she would call the authorities if my account was not credited back immediately. Prestige said that they were sorry the lump of money was deducted from my account, that someone in their office must have "accidentally pressed the wrong key." My account was credited back the $225 within 48 hours afterward.
Though I found this negligent withdrawal of my money unacceptable, I didn't mention it again since I wanted the wedding day limo service to go well.

Being a very organized person, I called Prestige on three seperate occasions to confirm the pickup and drop off times and locations for the wedding day. I told two seperate people on three different occasions that the wedding party would be going to Doty Park in Neenah from my church in Appleton to take pictures by the water. One would expect that the limo company, who now had the names and addresses of the church location, reception location, and park location where pictures were going to be taken, would have at least used MapQuest or something to get directions. However, on my wedding day, August 6th, 2005, the limo driver drove us in circles around Neenah, WI for 1 hour and 15 minutes looking for Doty Park. The drive should have taken no longer than 15 minutes, as it took both my mother and the photographer only 10 minutes to make the drive. Instead, the limo driver stopped at several other parks thinking they were Doty Park, all the while talking to my mother and my photographer on MY cell phone. Still, he could not find the park.

Meanwhile, the limo was getting stuffy (since it was a warm summer day and the air conditioner in the limo hardly worked), and by the time we got to the park to take pictures, we were an hour late and everyone had a red face. Not only was the photographer angry that we were late and exceeding our time limit with him, but we had to rush through picture taking, AND were not able to make any more of the stops we had wanted to make, AND were late to dinner that was supposed to start at 6pm. We did not even get to the reception hall until after 6pm, and arrived to hungry guests who were wondering where we were.

Now, even though the limo driver apologized that day, and admitted all fault over and over, Prestige & Executive Limousines continues to avoid our phone calls and does not call us back. We did get ahold of them a couple of times, when they told us they had to consult with their driver first and would call back as soon as possible. It has been three months now of my husband and I continuously calling and leaving messages that aren't returned. Even our photographer said that he has never seen a limo company not have directions to the drop off locations, and could not believe the way they handled everything. Even though the limo driver apologized, one would expect to be compensated for the annoyance of such a huge error on the part of the limo company. But, my husband and I are unable to even get a simple apology from Prestige & Exec Limo. I find this to be extremely rude, and I would not wish this type of service upon anyone, especially not on their wedding day. What a negative memory.
