Prestige Financial would you like a garnish, i mean garnishment!! Salt Lake Utah

ok so i work for a really big hotel in vegas and my boyfriend and i desided to buy a new car in 06. everything went fine until the dealership called one day and suggested we refinance our 400.00 a month payment. we said no several times and finally gave in to get them to leave us alone.

we went to the dealership picked out not one but two cars they thought we would be able to get finacing for. my boyfriend and i said they would never approve us for two car payments. well they did. one of the companies was prestige. they set our payments out 45 days till the due date, no down payment. the week before the payment was due i got a call in the bar i was working it was matt from prestige calling me to remind me of my payment. i told him not to call me at work and he said that as long as i put that number on my appication he could call. i told him i would get in trouble for being on the phone, he said he didnt care. WHAT!?!?!?!?! he called my bar everyday till the payment was made. it was made on time thanks to the constant reminding of MATT calling the bar. knowing i would have to answer the phone. i even tried hanging up, he called back.

so remember the 400.00 payment, with both payments and insurance our cars ended up costing 1500.00 a month. no problem right? the new hotel finally opened up on 12/31/07 and no one showed up. NO ONE!!!! no people in my industry means no tips. no tips means no car. prestige called me everyday from the time i missed my payment, till about a month ago. they also called my father who had a massive stoke and told him that if HE didnt pay MY car note they would find a way to get it out of him or me. they repossed my car in the beginning of this year and are now trying to garnish my wages through callister and reynolds attorneys at law in vegas.

the business practices of this company is so shady. if i had known then what i know now i would have never answered my phone or gone to the dealership. the harrassment even after the car was repo'd was disturbing. they sent e-mails and the phone calls. they would call at all hours it seemed. MATT even called me and my boyfriend from his personal cell. i wish i had saved the number. i would call him at 3 in the morning. however now they have a woman calling us and she still gets nowhere with us. there is a reason the car was repo'd in the first place. duh. we tried having them do a volunitary repo, they said no they would take the car back after is was 90 days late and not a day before. thanks jerks. i hope the economy hits these idiots as hard as it is hitting the hard working americans that at least try to make there payments. we are by far dead beats, but i REFUSE to pay a company that intimidates and uses unfair business practices. they will have to take me to court and pry the cash out of my hand. DO NOT use this company. dont care how bad your credit is, ours was fine till this company got a hold of it.
