Prestige Gold Buyers advertised at INBOX DOLLARS to buy old and broken gold with a $50 bonus for your gold.  I sent my gold package off (5/2011) and did not hear from or receive cast for my gold.  After contacting them by phone (7/2011) I was told that "due to an overwhelming response from INBOX DOLLARS members they were behind in processing my gold and that I should be receiving a check soon.  I have not received a check - their telephone number is no longer "in service" and the website is down saying that they will honor all customers who sent their gold and to contact customer service at the same telephone number that is no longer in service.

People are still doing this?

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, April 20, 2012

After nearly 5 years of people getting ripped off by mailing valuables to people they don't know, I'm surprised that there are still folks out there that haven't figured it out.

Simply put, sending an envelope full of gold to someone you don't know, in the hopes that they will give you top dollar (yeah, right), is incredibly naive.

To anyone who still thinks this is a good idea, send me an envelope full of cash and I'll send you back twice as much in gold bars.  I'll even give you a $2,000 bonus and a free Mercedez.   Honest, I will.
