A flag waver for $75 an hour? added last minute? The price of Gunite was jacked up from $155 a yard to $265 a yard last minute? Other tricks and fees added last minute? The Prestige representative who signed the bid agreement refused to return my phone calls ever? The "scope" didn't change.It wasn't 3 years.

I found another company who came out 1 week later and flashed the fish pond for the price Prestige originally quoted and did an excellent job. No flag waiving scam fees, no jacking up the price of gunite last minute, no overtime fees. Prestige, shame on you, you were once a reputable company and now you are rip off artists. Police departments charge $ 22-25 per hour for an off duty police officer for traffic control if you really actually need it. Plenty of skilled honorable dependable gunite companies out there.Don't use Prestige,they will rob you.You will be stuck having to get ripped off by Prestige or find someone else last minute and mess up your job schedule.

Just a few details that was left out of the compliant; yes our price did change from $1,900 to $5,885 and there are several reasons for this. For starters the first quote $1,900 was given 3 years ago and was to only flash a fish pond (place or less of material over the existing walls). Two years ago the scope of work was changed and we gave a new price based on the changes, early this year the scope of work changed yet again and we gave another quote based on the changes. Our last quote was given in June of this year and the scope changed again, this time it was to retrofit the existing fish pond into a swimming pool and spa, this of course entirely different then our first price to flash the fish pond. Now we are placing 3 to 4 times the material, the work was requested to be done on a weekend (all overtime rates) and yes we did have to have a flagman since we had to park all of our equipment on the one lane street, with no shoulders, this was for the safety of our employees and the traveling public.
