Prestige Homes ripoff let me tell you about my 70 thousand box of rot and mold, found 3 months after moving into our new never been titled, first purchased home Fort Walton Beach Florida

this should realy open your eyes people, and show you what big corp money can do, and get away with it , remember dan the distric manager of prestage homes. i found a letter he wrote in the florida manufactured home magazine , THIS IS ALSO THE MAN THAT TOLD ME AND OTHER CUSTOMERS TO SUE THEM, THIS MAN IS ALSO THE SECRETARY OF THE FLORIDA MANUFACTURED HOME ASSO.

im having to sell my home at a loss, because my grand son is very very sick still coming home and the smell of mold in the air i wish some one could find a lawyer i cant,

i still havent seen my $4500 they stold from me and my famely, i have called and called , wont return phone calls, my life is still hell. im trying to sell my home for the safety of my famely, and the home will have to be pushed down and put in a dumpster, all i have is land, the home is worth a dollar, prestuge homes has brought me to my knees, the months i have lost work having to be here while theyer so called repair men work on the home. all my files and recordings are packed up .

i will try to find them tomorrow and post what i can, i have alot of realy good info i found out about terry trexler and lord knows how many differant buisness he owns, or he is on the board of, his partner in the company named, nobility 21 , tim williams owner of 21st century mortgage that changes its name every 3 to 4 years lets see, theres 21st century mortgage , 21st mortgage, and there is 21st century home mortgage, i have even gotten corrospondance from one of them, dont know which one i was talking to at that time, but i got a letter from one of the mortgage companys that come in a 21st century insurance envelope, humm? does the word rackitearing come to mind?

Wished I had more time to be on the internet and found your problems prior to my wife and entering into contract with Prestige Homes we were told by Punta Gorda Manager 2-3 weeks for approval will have p.o. from factory 4 1/2 weeks later tells us he's ordering land appraisal. The wife and I disscuss the situation 10 min. later call the manager back telling him to terminate the deal due to lack of performance. Three days later he orders land appraisal tells us we bought new home
money is non refundable no p.o. number from factory and His first words (Get Attorney) wild! that verbiage must be company policy.
The update: still without $4222.00 down payment two months later and the nonrefundable clause does not have my signature. it has signature where I would sign unfortunately its not mine! but does not bring the home in conformity to the standards,NOBILITY HAS BEEN WORKING ON MY HOME FOR OVER A YEAR , i wonder what happened to the sixty days. that is the florida federal law, and the state of florida is ignoring this law also, i called the florida DMV ,and quoted this law to them, i was told that they were not mold experts, i then ask them what part of a letter of concern from my doctor about the enviroment , and on their first inspection of white and black substance on bottom boards did not deem to be a safety hazard, i was told at that time to let nobility come back and fix the problem, well i did , and as usual, i still have white mold covering my floor boards, and black mold in my walls, and floor joist being held up with only 1 screw,..

Ok I want to express my sincere sorrow for you and your family. My husband and I tried to get a home thru Prestige in Inverness, Florida about a year ago. We were however not approved. Thank God!!! You always here these stories but this one is really bad. I want to thank you for reporting them. My husband and I went thru everything with them: $500.00 deposit, picking out a home, credit ap, choosing colors. All to be strung along for like 2 months before they said we were not approved! Then trying to get our $500.00 back was a nightmare. The check has to come from Ocala and they only come on Friday's. Oh so and so is running late with the checks. dan, i thought hard today about what you said, even though, you dont have your facts straight, im sure you have heard that before. but you are rite i have no reason to be up set or emotional, for the hell you and your company has put my family through, but its my 3 year old grand son im worried about, hes been on antiboitics sence we have lived here , he is all ready getting amune to the medication, the doctors are having to change his medication every 3 weeks, the doctors are concerned, he is not old enough to defend him self, he is only 3, so im trying to step up to the plate for him and do what i can, your company has writen off this home every year sence the day it came off the manufactures lot in ocala fl, you wrote off the repairs in 2002, you painted the home to cover the rot and mold, then you sold the home, now for the last year you have bought new saws, grinders and a whole assortment of tools to jerry rig my home back togeather, and paid labor to jerry rig my home back togeather, and your writing that off, and its all at my famelys expence,

so dont go trying to suck up to me by saying you understaind why. hey dan, first off i have been very very nice , and patent, you have to remember , i had just lost every thing i had 3 months before, in hurricane ivan ,i had a realy good reason to go postal on you people,i have only gotten emotional one time, and that was when i , a 46 year old man, broke down and cried like a baby , in front of your so called SERVICE MEN you sent up here to jerry rig my home,because they told me they could'nt get all the rot out of my 70 thousand dollar home, all i wanted was to get the rot and mold out, and you havent dont that, i have video of rot, and mold being covered up. oh by the way dan , YOUR IN FOR A SUPPRISE, WATCH YOUR MAIL, YOU SHOULD BE GETTING A LETTER OR 2,your so called SERVICE MEN have come in my home and beat up my brand new, never been walked on, never been installed, never been sold or titled to anyone, wood floor the only thing i had in my home THAT WAS brand new, your men made sure it had plenty of dents and scratches in it before they left, you can also tell your service men the wood i showed them by my bath tub that had been wet, and they told me once again that it was discolored wood, well its got rot all under my tub, do you remember how bad the other tub was , well this tub is just as bad, i showed that to your service men, they blew it off as discolored wood, as usual, hey dan,i built a barn in 1995 and the wood had'nt started changing colors yet. do you want to know why, because i built it rite ,and when it rains, it dont get wet, and futher more, your service men left the house un finnished, my home now is 2 colors, part of the home is red, where the some one at prestige or nobility homes tryed to cover the rot and mold BEFORE THEY SOLD IT, and the other part is natural wood, you have another home in my county that has the same problems, you will be hearing from them also, im showing them what i know about you people, and your rite, you can say you were here just about every week, i didnt see your service men from nov /17/2005 about 10 minutes after the inspector left,they took off like a scared 3 legged cat in a room full of rocking chairs , didnt see them till jan 20 2006 if you want to call that just about every week. and when they were here they only worked from 8 till 2 three days a week, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it, and as far as calling you or your people dirty names,i never called any indvidual and nasty name, if i did, i want you to tell me who i called a dirty name, and i want you to tell me what dirty name i called them,. dan if i hadnt pulled up the carpet , that your people reinstalled to cover up the rot and mold your that people discovered in 2002 , i would realy be in a world of sh--, the huricanes your talking about, your men came up here took the side of my home down, laughed and walked off, i had to put down every towel, sheet and blanket on the floor to try to keep the rain from coming in and soaking every thing i have left to my name, and from what i under stand from you service men that the reason your streached so thin, is you have problems with just about every home you sell, and your service men quit because of the cheap labor pay, all your men threatened to quit while they were here, even your service manager, that wont return my calls that i have left him the last 3 days, The reason you had to replace the roof, the walls, the floor joist, the side boards the sidding, is BECAUSE IT WAS ROTTEN ,AND YOU DIDNT GET ALL 0F THE ROT OUT YOUR SERVICE MEN ALREADY TOLD ME WHY SHE GOT FIRED, AND IT WAS BECAUSE SHE SOLD ME THE HOME, AND YOU GUYS GOT COUGHT FOR NON DISCLOUSER,hummmm? wonder how many more are out there un discovered, go to the clerk of courts in marion county , or any county in florida and see how many people are sueing your manufacfure, and dealership, then call me and tell me if you want to do buisness with you people, i sure wish i had looked at that before i got sucked in by you people, DAN you people even sold me a insurance policy that is no good, i called my home owners insurance ,and they told me you sold me a ploicy that has no value, unless my home burns down, thats insurance fraud , and as far as yor waranty goes, thats a joke, your sending more or less a janator up here to build a home, my floor joist is in 4 and 5 pieces now, my side board is in 6 inch to 4 foot pieces, yea i guess you do stand by your so called waranty ONLY BECAUSE THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE IS MAKING YOU,, , AND DAN, I HAVEN SEEN YOU , NOR HAVE I HEARD FROM YOU SENCE THE DAY YOU ACCUSED ME OF BEING A DRUNK, WHAT HAPPENED, YOU DISSIPEARED DURING THE BATTEL, AND SHOW UP AFTER THE SMOKE CLEARED, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON EXCEPT WHAT THE SERVICE MEN WANT YOU TO KNOW, AND THAT IS PROBALY HALF LIES, so you need to put some one on here that knows whats going on, and you need to go cover up some more rot and mold in another home ,and ok the sale, kapish., your done and have no idea what going on ,so leave little man , take your rotten HOMES and play somewhere else .

We at Prestige and Nobility Homes can understand why Craig is so emotonial about his beautiful log home. It did have it's share of problems and most of them were not visable till Craig removed the carpet and saw stains on the floor and side walls. To compound the problem, Florida had just had two or three more Hurricanes after Craig bought his home from us. The Nobility service staff was stretched out and very slow to respond to anything except what they deamed an emergency. Months went by before Nobility finally had time to take care of Craig's complaints. Thus far Nobility has replaced the roofing, much of the sidewalls and floors. It's my understanding that Nobility has returned to Craig's home almost every other week since they started on the repair project. I also understand that the repairs are nearing completion.

The Nobility service men feel that what they observed was mildew and not mold. Seems that everybody is jumping on the mold bandwagon these days. Reguardless, mold requires moisture to exist. The repairs have taken care of any moisture intrusion so any alleged mold will die out.

I won't lower myself to the mean spitited name calling but will clear up a couple of other unfactual items. Our manager was releaved of duty because of other issues, not one of them having to do with Craig or his home. The manufacturer had repaired a roof leak on the home a year or two prior to Craig buying the home. The manager was not working at the sales center when the repairs were made and would have no knowledge of any repairs on the older models at the sales center. Yes, I was aware of the repairs but didn't give it a second thought. There is nothing unusual about the manufacturer making repairs and adjustments on models at any of our 20 sales centers.

I'll admit that Nobility did take a long time in responding to Craig's complaints but being the responsible company they are they stood by their warranty and have taken care of the problems.

WOW this is more fun than going to six flags,mabe rippeys belive it or not may be intrested in seeing what i have pics of, remember all the rott i told you about, well they tried to get it out but they couldnt, i have them on video recorder saying,{quote} i cant get all of the rot out, i was told the only way to get ALL the rot out , would be to build the home from the groung up, i told them to start building, but any way what rot they did get out instead of putting good wood back in replace of the rot, they shoved air under my bottom plate to hold the side of my house up. yes you heard me rite, i said they shoved air under my bottom plate to hold up the side of my house, you should see this, its absolutly amazing, i hope rippleys belive it or not reads this, mabe ill call 60 minutes or 48 hours to come and see this, ive been telling the service men all along they needed jesus on this job, because they are going to need a carpenter that can perform miracles to bring this home back to living standards, ive got spaces all long my front load bearing wall where the floor system is missing and there is a 1/2 inch gap between my bottom plate and my perimiter board, all i can figure out is, shoving just plain ole air in the areas where rotten wood has been removed must be a new way to improve the structual design to carry the load of the walls and roof, well this has been real fun, mabe ill go to the ZOO next week, take a few applacations from the arangatangs and the chimpanzes, i got a frend that was actually looking to buy a home from these people, but i convenced them that i could hire a labor force from the zoo,spend a week training them, then going across the road cutting all the rotten trees off and build him a home just like the never been sold , never been titled, never been purchased, , never been lived in,just like brand new home they sold me, mabe while im at the zoo you never can tell, i just might just see some one i think i know, or they just remind me of someone i met well its off to the zoo,

im so confused ,mabe the readers WILL have more of a idea of what is going on, back in july 2005, i started smelling electric burning, my lights went to flickering , and going dim and bright, so i started checking my fuse boxes, when i went out side i had smoke boiling out of my new power pole box that prestige homes had set up for me, i called prestige homes told them about the problem, they sent a service man out to fix the power box, the service man told me that the inspector must have pulled the breaker out and when he reinstalled it,he installed the breaker wrong and it melted my box and will have to get another , he put another breaker in a lower position and left, i have called prestige several times since that time to ask , when they were going to replace my box,last week dec 2nd 2005 6 months later, and after they found out that i had found all the rot and mold that prestige tried to hide , {and i have proof of that} i called to ask for the manager of prestige to ask when they were going to fix my power pole, because she was the person that sold me the home. i was told that she didn work for them any more, ive been told that she got fired because i was sold a rotten and molded home, WELL I WAS TOLD by dan the regional manager, that the manager in fort walton didnt know any thing about the repairs done on the home because she wasnt working there at that time, well i got a question for dan , or who ever has any thing to do with prestige, dan your are the regional manager, you told me and my famely there were plenty of records of the repairs , and you knew the home was being looked at to be bought, because the manager said she had to get with you about the selling price,so if you knew about the repairs why didnt you tell the manager? REMEMBER YOU ALREADY TOLD ME AND MY FAMELY THE SHE DIDNT KNOW ANY THING ABOUT THE ROT AND MOLD BUT YOU DID, WHY DID YOU FIRE HER YOU ARE THE ONE THAT CONSPIRED TO HIDE AND NOT DISLOSE REPAIRS AND ROT IN THE HOME, NOT THE MANAGER,, i guess that woman was the fall guy for you , ha ha ha whata man im proud of you , hummm? where does the buck stop,ha ha ha , the service man for prestige blamed the building inspecter for improperly initalling my breakers, and the regional manager of prestige is blaming some one that has no idea what happened, DAN YOUR THE ONE THAT SAID , SHE DIDNT KNOW ANY THING ABOUT IT , BUT THERE WERE PLENTY OF RECORDS, IS THAT A LIE ALSO, BECAUSE IVE BEEN TOLD BY NOBILITY HOMES THERE ARE NO RECORDS, MR TREXLER , I BELIVE YOU FIRED THE WRONG MONKEY IN YOUR LITTLE ORGNISATION, ha ha ha i realy feel like i went to a used car lot and got the treatment,and my butt hurts, you can kiss it and make it feel better if you want, thank you so much for the lies , decete, the contract thing you did, i still haven got to that yet, every time i ask dan the regional manager a question for some help, HE TELLS ME AND MY FAMELY THAT ITS BETWEEN THE LAWYERS, i cant afford a lawyer and pay for this place too dan, but you knew that before we bought the place didnt you, you sold a home to a 70 year old man that only works part time as a school janator and only makes five hundrd and eighty dollars a month, and you made his payments at 300.00 every two weeks, do you know what that is called? its called PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES, AND ITS AGINST THE LAW, I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHO GETS FIRED NEXT, stay tuned for updates cause i got a good story to tell
