Priceline "Bid your own price" is a rip-off. Concord, NC Internet

I have use "bid your own price" at Priceline.com, which sounds pretty good deals to a lot of people.  I know I do not get to choose, change or even get a refund if I use " bid your own price".  I was biding on a three stars hotel at the time.  I bid for $150 per night rate at Saint Thomas, US Virgin Island.  Priceline  gave me Best Western Carib Resort.  There are so many three stars hotels but why it has to be Best Western Carib Resort?  

Oh, I do not get to choose where I stay.  Okay, Fine!  I can get it cheaper rate thru BestWestern.com. which a $50 dollar cheaper than Priceline.   First of all, the customer representative tells me that I will get a refund if the price I found in different website is cheaper than Priceline.  Well, no! That is a lie.  I do not get a refund.  Well, no refund thats okay  What about switch to another three stars hotel?  No, I cant!  Priceline saids I have agreed to some terms that I cant do anything about it.  

Okay, BestWestern Carib Resort is okay then I think， When I call Best Western Carib Resort to ask for my room location and condition.  They told me that I have a garden view at first floor.  If I want an ocean view I have to pay $10 extra each day for the difference between a garden view and an ocean view.  I can get an ocean view thru BestWestern at cheaper rate.  I through priceline is a "best deal" website?

I have spend hours to talk to their customer representatives and put on hold for so many times.  I have done a lot of research about the hotel at St. Thomas. with the price $150 per night rate I could get a better hotel than Best Western. or better room view.  Really?  I really cannot do any thing about it for spending $1190.49 dollars for a hotel?  I really feel like that I got the biggest rip-off in my life.
