Prime One Financial Aka Prime One Benefits ripoff Credit Card Offer Company...Heres what I did! consumer fraud ripoff New York New York

About 10 days ago, I received a phone call from "Moses" at Prime One Financial, saying I had been approved for a $1000 line of credit on a mastercard. All they wanted was a one time fee of $187 to be deducted directly from my checking account on 4-4-2003. After which they would send me a packet along with a card, in addition to many discounted offers in a catalog!

I called the phone numder they gave me after I had already given them my checking account number, and it was answered professionally, so I thought nothing more of it....that is until a little voice told me to do some checking on this Company a few hours later and I found this Fraud website!

What really weighed heavily on me is that they never even confirmed my #SSN, and we all know credit card companies go by them! I began to worry and told my Husband what I had done and the very nexy morning he went down to the bank to block the monies from this Company!

My concern is that once they have your bank account number, they can pass it down to any "sister" companies they may have and they can deduct monies as well, possibly even emptying our accts. The next day I had my husband close that acct out and start a new one.

Until these people are caught and put out of business they have access to our monies and info. I highly recommend you do the same thing, even though it is a hassle...it is better than having your acct depleted or having to pay 30 bucks a pop for bounced checks! Good luck all :)
