i purchased from OfficeMax on 3-11-01 prime peripherals cd-rom drive and 5900 56k modem. i never did get my rebate so i got hold of prime peripherals and they told me to resubmit. i sent my resubmission to a Leah Finklestein. i got a e-mail response which stated.
i received your resubmission for offer #50 $45.00 and #51 $29.99. i will send this down to Texas on Aug. 31,2001. it will arrive at Parago in one week. it takes Parago 2-3 weeks to ender everyone into the system. from the time that your status becomes validated in the system, it takes Parago ten business days to cut the checks, and delivered to your home.
Since then i have been unable to contact anyone by e-mail, telephone or by internet. there web site www.primeperipherals.com is no good. i am out $74.99 which i thought i would get back on the rebate offer. This appears to be a rip-off from the very beginning. i think officemax should be responseable for this but they have been no help in getting this settle.
