This company cashed a check for 545.00 I had written them for a home appraisel THREE months after we had decided to not buy the house we were seeking financing for!

After working through the process of shopping for a home and applying for a mortage the inspection turned up serious mold issues and we chose to not buy the house. This inspection and appraisal were on the same day so we met the appraiser at the house and told him we were not going to buy the house and did not want an appraisel. He immediately called his boss, while standing right next to us, who told him to do the appraisel anyway in case anything were to change but that we would not be charged. He again reiterated this to us right after getting off the phone.

We obviously now realize we never should have let him continue but were trying to be nice to the guy who was just trying to do his job. Prime source Mortage Missoula MT never once contacted us to say that they were going to cash the check or that they had received a bill, or to offer us a copy of the appraisel we ended up paying for . NO three months later they cash the check, does that seem sketchy to anyone else? When I contacted Christina Witt she claimed to have received a bill from that appraiser that she was using our check to pay, when I questioned the validity of her actions she hung up on me.

I strongly suggest to anyone seeking mortage assistance to go somewhere else.
