Tried to get tickets for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. By accident submitted the 3:00pm show instead of the 8:00pm. As soon as it was submitted I called to see if they can switch it. The tickets did not get emailed until 2:57pm for a 3:00pm show. He would not switch it or take a refund.

To top it all off this guy was the rudest person I ever dealt with as far as customer service. He was rude and cursed at me which got me real mad. He said it happens all the time. If I had a business like this to save from complaints before I was dumb enough to process it because of the time, I would call the person to verify it was not a human mistake. But this guy is looking for cash only and does not care about the customer. This is a chop shop; the dude was a jerk avoid this company!!

I understand that there are refund polices but this guy has no clue how to talk to people with out getting them upset I lost $60 and Prime Time Ticket could care less!!!!!!

Online Tickets

AUTHOR: MikeBigado - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 16, 2010

Most online ticket brokers have a clearly stated cancellation policy and must be acknowledged before making a purchase.  We are not either of the two brokers that were complained of but we do have similar practices for cancellations and post this:

"CANCELLATIONS: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There are no refunds or cancellations of orders. Upon request we will attempt to place your order on a A Try to Sell Basis. If EZ-Ticket is unable to fill your ticket order as specified, EZ-Ticket will exercise the following procedure: 1) Comparable tickets will be provided 2) Tickets will be upgraded 3) Tickets will be downgraded with a partial refund 4) Ticket order may be canceled with a full refund. For all cancelled events, clients will receive a full refund in the form of a store credit (except for an act of God, strike, act of war, terrorist act, lockout, or any postponements). "

We are primarily a wholesaler and resell our tickets to retail brokers who then resell the tickets to the public via their website. The problem is that most online brokers do not own the tickets they sell themselves and therefore must purchase the tickets from other brokers.  This creates the largest cost to them and if they refund the purchase price to the consumer they maybe stuck with the tickets that cannot be sold. Usually the retailer's profit consists of a portion of the service charge.

If confronted with a mistake like this by the customer we will not cancel the order but can and will try to sell the tickets on a consignment basis for them.  We make no guarantee the tickets will be sold.  We also are willing to buy the tickets but this is usually at wholesale and most times is 20-30% below the base cost.  If the retail broker had wanted these tickets to begin with he would have been the original purchaser.
