Primerica pledges to resolve complaints and address representative issues. For a long time this EDitor had concerns about Primerica because of the number of Reports about them. For many months Rip-off Report was looking into the company, even before they contacted us to resolve any issues and mostly misunderstandings being posted by competitors. With over 100,000 representatives and 6 million clients, Primerica is bound to be the subject of a certain number of complaints about improper agent conduct, as well as product and administrative complaints. Rip-Off's investigation found such complaints, but importantly also found that Primerica is committed to resolving such complaints quickly and doing everything possible to satisfy its clients. It also takes appropriate action against any of its representatives who are found to have conducted themselves improperly or unethically. We believe that the number of complaints against this company, whether through the Internet or other channels, is small when put into the context of its enormous size. I was convinced that this company was good by a friend who approached me at church. I believed that they could in fact help my family and that I could make a living in this company selling their products. You can in fact sell the product and the products are not the problem. The people training you to sell the product and recruit people are the problem. I have had dealings with a rep in this company, who has gotten away with illegal activity. my husband and me, and others were witness to this but the company stated that it was his word against mine. This is just the icing on the cake. We went to the state after one agent convinced our child to open the door while I was in training and my husband was at work, to steal documents from my home that I was told to hold on to by the state. I not only filed charges through the state of LA, I filed criminal charges for illegal entry into my home with my minor child who trusted this person when they told her that they had my permission to enter my office and remove documents. Primerica is not a bad company; Like the others have said, they need to do a little screening. I will tell you that they hire anyone. They say you cannot have a felony and work for the company. Well go to a Tuesday night meeting in Shreveport LA and see who one of the speakers and trainers for the company is that night. Ask for RVP Bubba Alexander (his wife Candice is the RVP) Bubba actually does not hold any license or appointment with the company as far as I know. I don't think he is employed what so ever. Ask Bubba if he is a licensed agent. He recruits, he trains, and he will tell you how to work the business, but the last I heard he cannot get a license through any state. When I ask him if he had a felony he told me he had gotten into trouble years ago. To me a felony is a felony. Why the leaders of this company would let an unlicensed person run his down line and why let them train people? We had a little business going on. We tried to do the right thing and ended up loosing all of the people we recruited to this group of lying deceitful people in the company because we requested to be removed from this hiarchy. If you join the company, be very carfull who your upline is. I have cancelled my appointment with this company and will no longer deal with their representatives.
