After signing up to a website called Peoplesfinders.com in 2009 in NYC, I was shocked to find that a company called Privacy Matters123 charged me consecutively different amounts and sometimes twice a month, for 4 years. Since my credit card was minimally used, and on automatic payment, I had no reason to check my purchases until I found this suspicious charge on my statement 2013. When calling the number for Privacy matters123, I was advised that when I used Peoples Finders in 2009, my information was passed to their credit protection company. They had my email, credit card information, birthdate etc.... I had never been to their website, or heard of them before 2013. I did not receive email notifications that they were charging me, or what they were offering me. I was a member to a service I never signed up for. In addition, they never charged the same amounts, it was a bit more one month, and then a bit less the next. Sometimes twice a month. When taking a look at Peoples finders terms and agreements, there was no mentioning of Privacy Matters123. When doing research online, there were numerous fraud reports, angry consumer, customers who felt cheated. I am one of them, and nobody is stopping them. PLEASE HELP ME ALERT THE PUBLIC. I lost $2000.00, and many many people lost more than me. We have to bring consumer awareness of these tricks, and unethical online business dealings. I am consulting with an attorney, and I am willing and eager to step up, and step forward to bring awareness, and bring this company to justice! will you share our story! -Liza L B beach/ Florida
