The red flags are there from the beginning, you've just got to keep your eyes open:

-They call you in for an interview literally a few minutes after they get your resume.

-They office environment is totally unprofessional, loud music, dilapidated facility, no entrance security.

-The dozen people there waiting with you for the interview (without enough places for everyone to sit): cattle for the slaughter.

-The website: no mission statement, no corporate history, to names or contacts other than general hr, has recently operated under several different names, etc.

-Unrealistic promises: you'll get a 30 person staff after 6-9 months.

-There are more people at the office than there are spaces for them to work: deadpan giveaway that it is simply a door to door gig (don't let the liberal use of the term MARKETING fool you, there is no marketing research underway there).

-The interviewer could care less about any of your specific qualifications; you are a living, breathing, warm body = you are thus qualified. Any legitimate company will grill you about what you have to offer as they only want the highest quality person.

I couldn't help but wonder to myself while I was on my way out = Do these people truly and honestly believe that they are the real deal NYC Biz professionals? Do they honestly think that their lies and misrepresenting this fake company is really how business is conducted?

Well I've got news for all of them: you and your fake company is joke. A Pyramid scheme plain and simple. All of you wack cheap suit wearing frauds leave that trashy office every day thinking that your knocking on doors for chump change is something real? HAH!

I do pity the young college grads who fall for the ploy. But as for the frauds perpetrating the BS fest: you will reap what you sew. You will eventually realize that all the years you have put into defrauding people would have been better spent trying old fashioned hard work. But then again you know yourselves better than anyone and perhaps you have no talent whatsoever and this is the only way you can pay the rent. Either way, you are pathetic.
