These dirt bags were bouncing and withholding employee checks way back in the early 1990s and the state did nothing because of its crap anti-employee laws. Back then and based on what I see here even over 10 years later, employees in Utah have little recourse with deadbeat employers like Zimmerman and his ilk.

As for the Project Managers of whose names I recognized, I have little sympathy for being named. To have stayed with an organization like that rubs off. Plus, the environment left much to be desired. To call it a hostile environment is putting it lightly. One of the other project managers complained to Zimmerman and his henchmen about me and another non Mormon were drinking coffee and the smell was making her sick.

Not long after, Paria did a staff reduction that cleaned out... wow, all non-mormons. Of course, they tried to claim it was for cause to deny unemployment compensation. But in this one instance the state acted for employees and approved that's state's paltry unemployment. But it wasn't worth the trouble stirring the pot to try to file suit. Personally, I happily left Utah behind for better opportunities in more worker-friendly states with better career opportunities.

Well after seeing one of the posts above I decided to check with the SSA about what they have me earning at this place for the years I spent working there.  And sure enough, when it comes to 2007, the social security administration says that I earned 0. 

To have this corrected there is a phone number provided on the statement to call, need to have a copy of your W2 or Tax Return information from the year that is in error.  I plan to do this next week, I'll be sure to post any information that I can find out about why this happened. 

But I STRONGLY recommend the rest of you that worked there that year do the same!  It might not matter for you now, but later on, it could mean a lot and it'll be too late to do anything about it.  The SSA will only correct "mistakes" 3 years into the past!  So before the year is out, I'd make sure to check it!

Who is being dragged through the mud? David Harris? What about those people who were named up at the top by Anton who started this whole thread?  THOSE people did NOTHING wrong what so ever and have to have this come up on a google search for their name.  David Harris DID do something wrong by not acknowledging Antons repeated calls and emails along with Zimmerman.  It's not fair for any of the people named in the first post to have this crap follow them around, but it's totally fair for Harris to have it follow him as he knowingly and purposely (either on his own or under direction from Zimmerman) ignored Anton and allowed this to fester into the s****.>

Stephen Zimmerman may not have a hand in ASVA, LLC (asvaresearch.com), but David Harris does. Harris was involved in the financial dealings of both PGM, Inc and Professional Global Marketing Data Services. Both organizations were infamous for shady dealings, including not paying vendors (see original complaint here) and not paying employees. They also did the switcheroo name change to avoid debts.

ASVA, LLC (asvaresearch.com) employees are also experiencing the same issues -- late paychecks or no paycheck.

These warnings go out to all potential business vendors or employees. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". Don't be fooled again by the folks that ran PGM, Inc or Professional Global Marketing Data Services: Stephen Zimmerman OR David Harris.

I received my Social Security Statement dated 08/06/09 and wouldn't you know, my 2007 earnings were never reported!! Also, my 1995 earnings, too!!

I suggest, for those that were employed with said company, above (all alias), that you check on your statements! I am guessing all I would need to do is fax over my W4's, for those years, to get this resolved! Any suggestions??

I work for this company whatever our name is. As far as I know Mr. Zimmerman is out, he isn't even around anymore and is fleeing the state. Only time will tell.

I do not know if Zimmerman is still involved with ASVA or not but I did recently find that the IRS has placed a tax lien against him to the tune of $43k and change. It would not surprise me to find that this is unpaid employee payroll taxes from one or all of his companies.

ASVA has recently posted on their website that they upgraded their phone system and had to change phone numbers. However, if you review the docket of the Utah court system you will find that recently Veracity (one of many different phone service providers the company has contracted with over the weeks) has filed a small claims case against PGMDS and Stephen Zimmerman. Doesn't sound like they "upgraded" anything but rather got booted off once Veracity discovered that it was "a different company"

In my honest opinion, I think with all the stories and comments on this report it is clear that this company has gone way beyond a simple scam and borders on, if not crosses the line to intentional fraud.

i worked for them for many years in the st. george office of pgm. we had the same problems of getting our paychecks on time, bounced checks and sometimes a very unpredictable schedule. i stayed with the company and so did many of my co-workers through all this. in the beginning of may of this year, we had finished a major project. we were told to enjoy a few days off while we waited for a new one to start. a couple days later one of the supervisors went down to the office because she had forgotten something there. when she showed up she had seen some people from the north office and trucks which they were loading all of our equipment into. they said it was due to lack of contracts that we were being closed down. they weren't even going to tell us. just let us or a supervisor show up and see a notice on the front door.

after all that, a few people got their paychecks. mostly if they were part-time and the amount was under 200 bucks. alot of us had to file with the labor commision wage claim unit. and then the last week of aug some more checks were sent out. at this point we were scheduled to have a hearing with the labor comm. the first week of sept. those of us who didn't get paid had our hearing where they admitted they owed us. now we are waiting on the court orders to go through. and now it's dec and we are still waiting. i did alot of digging when they went out of business. i wish i would have done it before. it turns out they hadn't been paying their taxes for atleast the past year and a lein was put on them by the irs. that had happend 2 weeks before they closed us down. so thanks to them trying to screw the gov. they screwed us. and once again are hiding behind another alter ego company which is still the same company. they screwed the employees out of money, other companies who worked with ours and temp agencies in our area of around 100 thousand dollars. i have no idea who else was hurt by this company and yet they are still in business with the same clients doing some of the same work. i am ashamed to say that i worked with them for as long as i have. wish us luck in seeing justice

i worked for them for many years in the st. george office of pgm. we had the same problems of getting our paychecks on time, bounced checks and sometimes a very unpredictable schedule. i stayed with the company and so did many of my co-workers through all this. in the beginning of may of this year, we had finished a major project. we were told to enjoy a few days off while we waited for a new one to start. a couple days later one of the supervisors went down to the office because she had forgotten something there. when she showed up she had seen some people from the north office and trucks which they were loading all of our equipment into. they said it was due to lack of contracts that we were being closed down. they weren't even going to tell us. just let us or a supervisor show up and see a notice on the front door.

after all that, a few people got their paychecks. mostly if they were part-time and the amount was under 200 bucks. alot of us had to file with the labor commision wage claim unit. and then the last week of aug some more checks were sent out. at this point we were scheduled to have a hearing with the labor comm. the first week of sept. those of us who didn't get paid had our hearing where they admitted they owed us. now we are waiting on the court orders to go through. and now it's dec and we are still waiting. i did alot of digging when they went out of business. i wish i would have done it before. it turns out they hadn't been paying their taxes for atleast the past year and a lein was put on them by the irs. that had happend 2 weeks before they closed us down. so thanks to them trying to screw the gov. they screwed us. and once again are hiding behind another alter ego company which is still the same company. they screwed the employees out of money, other companies who worked with ours and temp agencies in our area of around 100 thousand dollars. i have no idea who else was hurt by this company and yet they are still in business with the same clients doing some of the same work. i am ashamed to say that i worked with them for as long as i have. wish us luck in seeing justice

If PGM Inc. and Professional Global Marketing Data Services are not one in the same, they share the same PO Box? Not to mention the domains that are clearly registered under the PGM Inc. name are displaying Professional Global Marketing's information at this time with the same contact information.

It looks like they changed all their phone numbers now, but you can still get the new main line number from their website.

I know that people who are still owed money by PGM Inc. are finding that the company is closed, which is a shame because the assets of PGM Inc. were moved to Professional Global Marketing Data Services where they apparently get protection because technically it's a different company. This is a very unfortunate loophole, and who knows how many other legitimate honest businesses were destroyed because they crossed paths with these people.

These are the people you need avoid when it comes to business dealings. They have taken most of our resources and ran away with out paying a single centavo. Upon conclusion of their foremost scam, they would again open and start a new modus to fool people and companies. The Federal Administration of Utah should investigate the dealings of this bogus institution who is claiming to be the best in the past years. Again, please avoid these people. They are now using their receptionist named Karen as front act in getting more people fooled. Don"t waste your time in dealing with them. Big time scam.

If you do end up trying to work for this company, be very careful. Not only as a vendor for the reasons listed above, but also as an employee.

They should add this to the help wanted ad as expectations for the job:

Have many payroll discrepancies.
Not have functional equipment.

This is not a "professional" working environment by any means of the word.

Key personnels include:

David Harris- Finance Head, responsible for non payment of almost 100,000 US Dollars
Stephen Zimmerman- Owner- uses a lot of pseudonyms to escape from his obligations, changes his mobile number every so often.

A certain Karen- She is only a telephone operator their, acts as HR or recruitment


Please dont try to deal with this people, dont even think of joining because their group because you will end up unpaid. They will promise a lot of things but will not pay you at all. Please contact me if you need more info about them.

This company is an alter ego of PGM, Inc! If you are owed money by PGM, Inc., note that Professional Global Marketing Data Services, LC and PGM, Inc. are ONE AND THE SAME! Same employees, same everything -- just a new name.

This is not a new tactic of the owner of the company. They did this before a few years ago, when Paria Group became PGM, Inc. (see http://wyomcases.courts.state.wy.us/applications/oscn/deliverdocument.asp?citeid=242997). This is just a tactic to escape their debt obligations! Do not be fooled!

I worked for said company a while back, under a different iteration/name. I was witness of the difficulties outlined by Sterling. Please note, however, that the Project Management and Marketing people are in NO WAY involved in payment of vendors. Their names have been unfairly slandered.

As the last rebuttal clarified, the CONTROLLER is the individual with the responsibility of paying vendors. Sterling is well aware of this fact. They may have reason to complain, but this broad attack, naming individuals that are not at fault is uncalled for.

Just wanted to clarify one aspect of this complaint. The project managers named, Scott, Chris T., Chris L., Laura, and Shane do not have direct responsibility for payments to vendors. That is strictly handled by the Controller, David Harris. Any communications to the project managers mentioned above would have indicated that to Anton and David Harris' contact information would have been given to Anton at that time. The project managers provided Anton with the only information regarding any past due amounts they had, which is just to refer them to David Harris.
