I have never had this problem with any other company.  Maybe I have been fortunate but I have been playing online gaming for several decades now and it has never occured.

The game Wartunes, the first time over several months I paid a couple thousand dollars for in-game currency.  I developed and character and enjoyed playing.  One time after many dozens of transactions I did not get the item I paid for.  I wrote them several letters asking for help but none were answered.  I then wrote after at least a dozen letters that if they did not try to help me I would ask the credit card company to request back the funds paid.  

The next day after sending that letter I was kicked from the game and despite numerous attempts on my part was never able to get a communication back from the company.

Recently Wartunes released Wartunes Reborn.  I thought I would try again at the game since despite the thousands of dollars lost while i played it I enjoyed it more than almost any other game.

After a couple dozen transactions for in-game currency adding up to several hundred dollars I was again 'kicked' from the game without notice.  Upon contacting them they did reply that several credit card transactions did not go through completely and I now had to pay some $50 dollars to get my account back.   

What has never happened to me before is that a company grants a credit request without, it seems, seeing if the amount is within the requestors credit limit.  If they do check then they do not 'lock' the money so any future request made by the same company or another that amount of money is shown as available when in reality it was already spent. 

Every other time I have ever charged anything and there have been thousands over the decades things are approved or not approved depending upon my credit limit at the time of submission.  Wartunes for whatever reason fails to do this properly.

My history with the game is that even if you have played for months spending hundreds of dollars each and every month which adds up into the thousands they will kick you from the game if they think they lost $20.  Not logical but that is what happened in my circumstance. 

I do not think any person should feel safe putting more than a couple bucks into this game that they can let go and it would not hurt them to lose the money or the game.  No significant money should be invested in a long term game because like me you can be kicked at any moment then be foreced to go through all your transactions and verify each and every one was made by your creditor and show proof of it.  

The game is great.  Their response has greatly improved from my first problem with the company.  However, with currrent tech I can not see any reason why any company, especially of this size is unable to properly determine credit limits and then only grant approval and dispense in-game product once they 'know' the money is within the limit and then 'lock' it there so no other company or transaction later that day can use the same money over again yet only one gets paid.
