Profit Confidential Michael Lombardi VERY SHADY OPERATION internet Canada

 About a year ago I called and subscribed to their newsletter which I was supposed to have received monthly for one year via email.  At first I think I received about 3 or 4 of the newsletters as promised but then they pretty much stopped and I only received one every 2 or 3 months.  Then, out of the blue, 8 or so months into the subscription they charged my credit card $295 for some service I didn't want.  I called my bank and they advised me to call them at the number listed on my bank statement.  I did so right then, while I still had my bank on the other line, and the customer service rep at Lombardi Publishing stated that when I initially signed up it was with the understanding that it would be a recurring charge.  I told her that that had never been disclosed to me when I initially subscribed to the newsletter and that I wanted to cancel all memberships with them and I wanted an immediate refund of the $295 they had just charged me.  She tried numerous times to sell me other "products" which I repeatedly declined.  This while all the while my banker was on the other line listening.  The customer service rep FINALLY agreed to cancel my subscription and issued me a cancellation confirmation number beginning with CAN and then told me that my bank account would be credited the $295 within 7 business days.  After getting off the phone with them my banker said he had copied down the cancellation confirmation number and would annotate my account and that if the refund was not issued it would be a no brainer for them to handle it for me.  Well over a month has passed and no refund from Lombardi Publishing.  My bank is pursuing them now for the refund.  Be VERY carefull with this company's business tactics.
