Profit Point, Inc. A.k.a. ProfitPoint, Inc. Stole $770 from my business bank account. Franklin Tennessee

ProfitPoint, Inc. was the merchant services provider for processing credit card transactions in my restaurant. I had to close my restaurant temporarily and notified ProfitPoint that I was closing my restaurant. I was bringing in a partner to help reopen the restaurant and planned to continue using my ProfitPoint merchant account.

I never asked Profit Point to close my merchant account, but the next thing I knew, my ProfitPoint merchant account was closed and $770 was removed from my business' bank account for early termination of my contract with them.

The contract with ProfitPoint doesn't say anywhere that if I temporarily close the restaurant that ProfitPoint is entitled to close my merchant account. The contract also fails to provide anywhere that ProfitPoint can close my merchant account without my submitting a written request for my account to be closed, delivered to ProfitPoint by U.S. Mail, which I never submitted.

Thus, ProfitPoint illegally and invalidly closed my merchant account and then illegally removed a $770 early account closure fee! What a rip off!

I've made every attempt to speak with Shawn McGee, who was my ProfitPoint Account Executive and is responsible for this mess, but he has refused to help. I've tried to contact ProfitPoint's founder, Vaden C. Landers, but he has also refused to help.

Stay far away from Profit Point, Inc. for any of your merchant services or gift card needs. They are unethical and will take anything they can from you.
