progressive insurance I had a valid claim on july 25th, A driver backed into me. Now I am being investigated for ins. fraud Knoxville,, Tennessee

In response to your reply e-mail I am giving more details about my situation.  I took out an insurance policy with Progressive
insurance on July 24th 2012 after being uninsured for a while.  I also added uninsured motorist to my policy.  I purchased the
automobile insurance through an agent, Holden xxxxxx from Alliance Insurance in Morristown, Tn.     The next day, my spouse Mikitia xxxxxxx and I were coming home .  We were behind a car on the road we live on.  Suddenly the car in front of us stopped abruptly and I stopped also.  It appeared as if he past his turn off point.  He then put his car in reverse and then backed into and slammed the front of my 1991 Subaru Legacy and he took off and left the scene and drove up xxxxxxxxx Lane.  I then called 911 in Grainger County Tn.  

After waiting on the Sheriff's Deputy's to arrive about 7 minutes, The car that hit me returned back to the scene but a woman was driving the car this time.  After about another 10 minute wait the Deputy's arrived and apparently wrote the woman 3 citations for violation of reg, no insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident.  The officer told me that the male in the car did not have a licence to drive a car.  I would have never  imagined someone would hit me the day after I took out insurance but it happened.  I called Progressive and notified them about the accident before we went to the emergency room at xxxxxxx Hospital to be checked.  I had a dorsal spine injury and Mikitia had a sprained neck.  

After a few days went by I decided to retain an attorney,  xxxxxxxxxxx but They have stopped pursuing the case because they said Progressive wanted to investigate me.  We gave them recorded statements and we faxed to Farmer a hand writen
statement from Mikitia, and Progressive has the police report on hand.  I have complied with all of Progressive's requirements for a valid claim.  This has been going on now for about two months and now Progressive wants Mikitia and I to drive to Knoxville so they can take statements, cell phone records, medical records, and they want me to sign a form to come and get my 91 Subaru and take it off somewhere.  I told them that they could come to my house and ask us questions but they don't want to.  After getting hit, my transmission stopped working on the 91 Subaru.  I had to buy a used car.  Progressive's appraiser came to where my car was sitting at my brother James xxxxxx garage, on the 23rd of August 2012 and deemed my 91 Subaru a total loss and came up with a figure of $2364.00 for damages to my 91 Subaru.  I am very angry about all this and is consuming most of my time and considering a class action suit.
