My father had my car towed to this shop as he used it prior. He was told the hydraulic pump failed and had to replace it and REBUILD my transmission. Charged him $1900.00.When I picked up my car a week later, it ran awful. Made a noise upon starting, horrible clunking sound from front none of which was there prior. My car 2 wks before had just passed inspection at FORD. I called the shop back and told them, Mark said to bring it in. I did, Mark had one of the boys working there drive it, Justin came back in and told me I needed Brakes and Rotors; both axles replaced and an alignment and needed wheel bearing replaced on both sides.  I was dumbfounded. And no mention from him of the noise at starting. I asked what made the clunking noise and he said the wheel bearings. I asked for a quote and he called me at work the next day with 3 quotes. I told him I could not do all that after paying for the Transmision and asked for Mark. Mark told me he would take care of the problem and I could make payments. He lent me his truck and I left my car. the next evening I came to pick up my car, it was after hours and he led me to a side office, locked the door behing me and sitting on the desk was a gun. He then said he fixed everything and I needed to bring him 4 checks totalling $1300.00. Again, dumbfounded and a little nervous over the gun. I told him I needed to talk to my parents and left with my car. I told my parents the noise was still there when starting, the clunk noise is still there just not as loud and I did not authorize any of the other work to be done.I obtained a lawyer for deceptive trade act, unauthorized work,  work not completed and my car stillnot working.Mark started calling me and my parents and threatening us, stating he would reposess my car. My attorney faxed him a letter and Cert. mailed him a letter to cease and desist all actions as we would be going to court.  2 1/2 weeks later he stole my car, by towing it and charged $750.00 repossion fee.

#1 he does not have the right to REPO my car, it is not financed through him

#2 No mechanics lien on car, besides that just means you cant sell it until paid

#3 Denied Certified letter, yet stated to me on cell phone message I can have my lawyer contact him.

I have filed a case with the civil courts in HOUSTON.

Stay away, this man is a crook. Had previous car repair shop closed down; I have since been told he is a felon.

My rebuttal to Mark Thomas the liar

AUTHOR: Diane Marini - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Yes I am an adult and I am not going to let you take advantage of me as you have my elderly parents for 5 years now. As my mother told you each time you work on their car it comes back to you within weeks.

Yes I had an inspection on my car and had the 100,000 mile inspection and work done, this documentation will be brought with me to court.

I will also bring in quotes for work needed to be on my car now, that you say you have done, but has not been done or done incorrectly. Namely, brakes and transmission work. Plus all paid.

And I do know the law, I have an attorney. You are so used to screwing over people, maybe you should learn the law.

Continue to lie Mark. And I will add slander to my case for your little comment there and the one made at your shop to my mother, and maybe even the fact you got in my 16 yr old son's face.  Must be sad you have to pick on children.

NOPE, I am a blood child, not adopted, never lived in a trailer and never been to prison unlike you.

As well as you continue to lie about this, my car was not fixed properly either time, you did not complete what was quoted and charged me for, much less you did work I

did not say to do. As I said, I told Justin in what order was it priority. And as I told you I needed to talk to my parents, because I you gave me a price on all the work, not was I asked to have done first. Then the work was not even done correctly or completed. Paid for but did not get an alignment, paid for and did not get new or turned rotors. But this will come out in civil court in which was filed already.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

TP woman angry that she has to pay bill

AUTHOR: Proline - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 22, 2010

My name is Marc Thomas, I am responding to Diane Marini.

1. d**k Cavner has been a customer for over 5 years. d**k called me and ask me tow his daughters car from his house. d**k told me the car would not move. I picked the car up and brought it to the shop. no charge.

2. I rebuilt the transmission and d**k Cavner paid for it. I was aware thet there were other things wrong with this car but I knew that d**k had Paid for Transmission.

3. Diane claims she had car inspected at Ford Dealership. She had state inspection performed. The rotors were warped and  wheel bearings were worn, also both cv axles boots were broken. When state inspection is performed these items are not inspected.

3. I did lend my truck to her and I did agree to let her make payments on the other repairs. I waited for Diane until 7:30 pm. That is 1 hour after closing time. When she came into my office I did lock the door because it was after hours and I did have my gun because I carry it to and from work. Diane said she did not have the post dated checks with her, but promised to bring them back the following morning. I let her have her car and id not see her again for 2 weeks.

4.Diane did call 1 time and said she was going to bring checks in. (but never showed). I did call her 6 times trying to get checks and then warning her I would reposesse car. I recieved an email from some one claiming to be an attorney telling me to quit calling her.

5. I had car repoed and charged her $750.00 + $1350.00 she owed. Diane needs to learn about law before she tries to screw anyone else.

6. Diane used her parents good name to not pay her bill. I have worked on parents cars for over 5 years.

7. Diane is not a kid like all of this sounds she is 51 years old. I know Diane has to be an adopted child. There is no way that this trailer parker came from d**k Cavnes genes.

8.
