Prom & Pageant Expo Scam, did not refund thousands of dollars, manipulated my acting school San Ramon California

I am the owner of an NYC acting/modeling school for kids ages 6-18yrs old. In November, 2007, I entered into a contract (with the guarenteed refund should anything happen) with Prom & Pageant Expos to reserve a booth at their expo in NYC this spring. I was just recently notified that the event had been cancelled and had been assured by the president, Amanda Visse, that I would receive a refund of the $3,495 I put down up front. I was told it was sent out, but now it's mid April and I have not received it. I made numerous attempts to contact the company and now all numbers have been disconnected. I hope no other organization or person is taken advantage of by this fraudulous company.
