Prompto Oil Change THEY BLEW MY MOTOR IN MY A6 AUDI!!! Bangor Maine

I brought my A6 AUDI into Prompto oil change on Broadway in Bangor, ME. It was just a routine change. Everything went fine, I woke up the next morning it was very cold and my car wouldn't start. I had to jump start my battery.

I drove approx. 35 miles from when I left Prompto until my car broke down. My check engine light came on as well as my oil light. I was on my way into work and I had planned on bringing it back the next day to see what was wrong.

Less than five minutes after I left my house my car broke down. It shut off automatically because of the sensor in my vehicle. I was completely out of oil? I tried to turn it back on and the engine made a very LOUD noise.

I did not want to cause any further damage so I called my mechanic to come tow me out. I was stuck outside in -3 degree weather with my four year old son!!! For approx. one hour while I was waiting for a ride with no heat!

Once my mechanic looked at he said my motor was gone. The person who changed my oil had screwed my filter on so tight that it was metal to metal with no gap. This broke something in my motor and caused all the oil to leak out of my car and as a result of this my mechanic said my motor blew.

I am very pissed off! This guy who changed my oil new he screwed it on to tight and let me drive it out anyway!! He could of fessed up to his mistake and saved his company a lot of money! The motor will cost anywhere between 5,000 to 6,000 to replace!

I have so far missed 2 days of work. I have been without a vehicle for 5 days! They have not been up to look at my car or file a claim. I am a single mother I cannot afford to fix this vehcile! I do not have a lawyer but I think I may need one! DON'T ever go to prompto oil to get your oil changed I promise you will regret it!!!
