PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE: GRAB A PIECE OF THE ROCK SO THEY CAN TIE IT AROUND YOUR NECK AND THROW YOU INTO THE OCEAN!!!!

I'm a 72 year old senior citizen. From 1996 to 2000 I was employed at Time Customer Service, Division of Time Warner, Tampa, FL

I signed up for their life insurance program thru Prudential.  I've been paying premiums on the policy for 14 years.  The premiums started out at about $48 a month. The minute I turned 70 the premiums almost doubled to $85 a month. Now, within 3 months of my 73rd birthday they tell me that I have to start making my premium payments quarterly instead of monthly and the premiums will be $255.42.

I called their customer service and explained that I'm on a fixed income and I can't make payments that large all at once.  I was told that I had 60 days to pay and if I don't pay the policy will lapse.  I've paid them somewhere in the neighborhood of $9,600 dollars over the years. Now it seems their trying any manuvers they can think of to get me to let the policy lapse.  I could cash it in for around $15.00.
