Consider the following facts. Wes Montogomery District Manager has been investigating this theft and to date there is no report available to myself or to the Burbank Police Dept.
Only two units were burglarized in the entire storage place from June 30th to July 6th. This was the only burglary in the history of the storage unit and many of the employees were not even aware that any theft had occurred.
Public Storage has only two surveillance cameras on the entire facility. However it shows on the monitor that they have four cams. One cam is pointed at the office and the other is pointed at the gate. There are only two cams and they are poorly placed.
Public Storage admits they do not follow the rules as set forth in their own policies and procedures. Employee physical surveillance of the property is haphazard and is inadequate. Employees are poorly trained.
When confronted about their own negligence the onsite facility manager admits that they do not adequately monitor the area. She also admits that the gate codes are available to other companies that use the area.
I have repeatedly called them and they have refused any and all communication with me.
