Publish America Publish America Royalties Does not exist Frederick Maryland

Publish America has breached their contract with me. They said that royalties are paid at 8% for the first 2, 000 books. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed that I went with Publish America. They paid me $5.00 dollars in one royalty check, then $2.00 dollars in a second. I waited to see what the third one would be when they sent out royalties on 02/27/09. I didn't receive anything.

When I contacted them they said they sent me my statement by way of email and I probably need to check my spam mail. No royalites at all were due to me during that period. How can that be when a local bookstore purchased several copies of my book in 2008. I personally bought two of them.

Based on my experience with Publish America it would be rightful for me to say that they are thieves and they are very dishonest. I have requested to be release from my contract but they will not return my email on this issue. I really need a lawyer that would accept pro bono. I am ready to do what it takes. I have been totally humiliated by this company. They have stolen from me with an estimate that goes beyond dollar amount.
