i recently was informed that the company that I have a contract with has changed their name. In the past i have spent thousands of dollars to promote my novel Poison Reality a symphony of bittersweet and each year since 2009 i have not recieved a penny in commission. My book is still being sold on Amazon,Barnes and Nobles and alot of others Ebay but I have not made anything from these sale. What is worse now they have a new name they want me to pay them 99.00 to get my rights back and since I did not pay this they are not allowing me to paarticipate in any of their promotions. They email me the promotion and it states they do not have this book. How can i get copies? What am I to do?

SCAM SCAM SCAM

WRITER'S BEWARE

A simple google search of publish america + lawsuit, scam, rip off and you will clearly see that this company is a rip off/hoax/SCAM. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't sign a contract with them that would leave your work in limbo for 5-10 years. The company is set up to scam anyone with a dream of publishing their own book. They publish EVERYTHING emailed to them. If you search google you will see a reporter for a news column did some investigative work and sent them a manuscript of jibberish and they offered this jibberish a deal. If you were to read merely 5 pages you would see that every other page was a repeat, and if we want to get into mispellings They will publish enough copies of the book (print on demand) that the author will read and order, and they will do this with many errors. Then you will get an email that if you would want to order a package where they edit your book its going to cost you. They do this on purpose, this is how they make their millions. What writer wants thousands of books published with there spelt their... none. Remember this is not a traditional publisher it is PRINT ON DEMAND, they only spend money on publishing copies once they get paid money, they wait for orders. Forget your book ever going into a traditional bookstore, they don't deal with them. WRITERS BEWARE!!!!!!

I can't discuss much more for litigation reasons but I got never got paid, if you want to factor that in.

Please consider yourself lucky you can't sign up or register for one of the offers they have emailed you. They once had an offer with JK Rowling, well they contacted her people and she said she never dealt with Publish America. Word has spread online about these scammers, so they changed name to save face. Please don't be fooled, continue writing and forget these dream takers!!!

GOOD LUCK.
