I too have received a call at work. The woman told me that she appreciated my time and asked if it was okay if I did a quick survey with them. The representative asked me questions like my name, where I worked and how long I've been with the company and then asked if I liked to read. Anyway, she said that I will be receiving subscriptions to certain magazines in the mail and that all I had to pay was a $3.00 shipping and handling fee. I have selective hearing and I was very busy at work and said yes to almost everything to quickly get them off the phone.

I just received an invoice in the mail and now I have a payment due. I did not sign anything and did not give them my credit card information. Will this ruin my credit and what should I do in a situation like this?
