BEWARE!!! My father received a "fake" letter from Publisher's Clearing House saying that he won $1 million USD because he was the 3rd place winner of the Prize Draw, sponsored by Martha Stewart Living Magazine. It said that PCH would make all arrangements in order to receive the prize. My father also received an "offical" looking check with the letter, in the amount of $5,090.00 (The check was issued by Citibank of Delaware, a subsidiary of Citicorp.

One Penn's Way New Castle, DE. 19720 Ck # 876379 date 08/15/08 The check was also marked SATELITE.) The check looked VERY REAL!!! The letter came in an UNMARKED, PLAIN envelope WITHOUT a return address. It was POSTMARKED from CANADA. The letter instructed my father to call a "representative", Mr. KEVIN CASEY @ 1-(888)-690-9899 EXT#1. It also had a "SECURITY CODE"-Z10097BW3 The letter went on to state that per Federal Law, the "security code" and prize info. are kept "highly confidential" for safety and security reasons. Also, that an INTERNAL REVENUE AGENT was assigned to my father's case. The IRS agents's name was MR. HARVEY ARMSTRONG and could be contacted @ 1-(514)-699-2389 and the letter was signed CATHY STEWART CFO.

Well, the 1st thing I did was call the so-called IRS agent, Harvey Armstrong. Of course, I got no answer. Then I called the PCH "rep", KEVIN CASEY and also got no answer. Instead, I got a voicemail asking me to leave a message. I then went online to research it all, and I ended up here at this site, ripoffreport.com! My poor father is disabled, and this was an AWFUL thing to do to him. FALSE HOPE is a terrible thing.

I gently broke the news to my father that he was trying to be scammed by some horrible company out there that preys on poor people's hope of a better life. I am VERY, VERY angry about all of this! Stuff like this just shouldn't happen. I hope that ALL the people responsible for this pay dearly and rot in a Federal Prison. I'm so glad that I checked into this for my poor father, otherwise who knows what could of happened! PLEASE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL AMERICA!
