You'd better watch out for dirty tricks that Puente Hills Mitsubishi pulled. They added $6k worth of hidden charges such as leather seat protection to my Lancer with cloth seat, gap insurance that's already included with my bank, $3k worth or paint protection and extended warranty. Those were all added without my knowledge. Be sure to look at your purchase contract VERY carefully and make sure that you fill out N/A in any blank spots. Always request for a copy of the purchase contract. They gave it to me 3 weeks after my purchase(for the longest time, they even refused to provide a copy!). At the end, my $12k car got inflated to $18k with all of those useless paint protection or leather protection all without my knowledge. They cleverly match my down payment to roughly the same amount as those useless hidden charges to make me believe that my down payment was applied towards the car purchase. After I made $6k of down payment, I still owes them $12k on my car with a $11k sticker price. This is year 2008, and I didn't know this kind of deceptive practice from a new car dealer still exists. After I complained to Mitsubishi Corporate, they didn't care about penalizing the dealer neither. Just think twice before you get a Mitsubishi especially with "Puente Hills Mitsubishi." Never believe these full-page back cover ads in the Sunday newspaper.
