We are repeat customers of Pugi. The first car purchased was a Hyundai. The car was totalled about 9 months after we purchased it. We had requested that the extended warrenty be cancelled so we could receive the refund. It took them about 8 months to refund the money. We weren't too concerned about that because we thought it had been lost in the mail and we did finally get it.

After that car was totalled we decided to purchase a Mazda from Pugi. Big mistake. We foolishly purchased the extended warrenty and paint protectants and the stain protectant. With these purchases we were entitled to 3 free oil changes.

On the second oil change my husband took the car in. When they charged him he told the service clerk that we were supposed to receive 3 free oil changes, the response was "pay for it or you don't get your car." I had to call and speak to a manager and get a little nasty before they refunded our money.

On the third oil change we had mentioned that there was an issue with the trunk popping, he said "Okay, we will take care of it" and we went off to run some errands. Upon returning we asked for the car and they told us there were charges. I was instantley upset - they never said they were going to charge for any labor, we never authorized them to do work that would incurr charges, and we had an extended warrenty. After a little bit they let the car go with no charges and told us to bring it back in the following week to get the trunk fully fixed.

So, today we drop off the car to get the trunk fixed. My husband asked "This is covered under the warrenty?" to which the response was "Well, your car is a little over the 36,000 mile mark, but as a goodwill we will fix it for free." My husband mentioned that we had the warrenty anyway. We received a call to go pick up the car at which point we were told that there was a $100.00 deductible. This sent me through the roof. They should have confirmed that we knew about the deductible before fixing the car, not after. When we picked up the car we reluctantly paid it, after bringing up the service guy's offer to fix it as a goodwill. We then promptly cancelled the worthless piece of garbage they call a warrenty. Tom, in finance, is who processed it. He didn't care one bit that the company just lost repeat business over $100.00 AND had to refund the money for the warrenty.

I read what the former employee wrote, and if that really is the way they conduct business they are morons. They should strive for repeat business if we really are "suckers" that they can get more money out of, because well, they would get more money out of us.

Pugi's Motto:
"Our Dealership has built a reputation on providing courteous, honest service. Our customers appreciate the way we do business, and we know you will too. Take a moment to read the info below and find out what makes us an exceptional place to buy or service your automobile."

What a load.
