First of all we had a toilet scheduled for another repair, there had been several, the warranty person had been out of town on personal matters for several weeks and when he returned he scheduled the repair for the toliet. Before they could make the repair the pressurized line to the toliet broke off while we were at work and flooded our home. We are the second homeowner of this home even though it is only 1.6 years old. The first owners had several plumbing issues with the same toliet.

When the Plute warranty person came out he said that it was not covered, so we had him send a plumber out and the plumber said that it could have been an installation problem (it was his company that installed the toliet). The warranty person for Pulte was there when the plumber made that statement and so we asked the pulte rep if they were going to cover it and again he said no. Called their corporate office in dallas texas area and the head project manager for this area said they were not going to cover it. I told her that I thought they were acting in bad faith and she said see you in court. Since then as we were digging a flower bed in our back yard to try and repair some of the run-off issues that we have in the yard, a 1 1/2 to 2" wide and 4 foot long piece of the foundation fell off.

After further investigation we found that our foundation was not poured big enough for the home and they tried to fix the problem by just facing the foundation with more concrete, but of course that did not work. When I called Pulte out on this matter they stated that they could reface it again and I told them it did not work the first time why would it work now? He said that was all that pulte would do, even though my brick to my home is now not sitting on anything. I told him that I thought that maybe an engineer or a foundation company should look at it to make sure the repair was do properly, maybe dowing into the foundation itself and he told me that I would have to pay for the engineer and the repairs myself. Both of these items have a 10 year warranty and I have called the head warranty person for Pulte up North and he just keeps saying that he would have someone from Dallas area to call me back. but to date I have heard nothing.

We are paying the $21,000.00 repairs for the water leak out of our own pocket and we have not been able to pay for the foundation repairs as of yet. As I am writing this complate a rep for Pulte Homes just called and said that they would not do anything. Please help I cannot believe that this kind of things can go on. They say they are # 1 on JD powers I do not know HOW.
