Pulte mail problems San Antonio Texas

Our mail has been a nightmare. When we moved into our Pulte Home last month, they said they had been waiting 7 weeks to put up the community mail boxes; supposedly this was all the post offices fault. Finally, they got the mailboxes up. However, they had to take them back down again after just a couple of days. I have to continually run to the post office to pick up my mail. The employees at the post office have told me that Pulte is the worst about building homes, having people move in and NOT putting up mailboxes.

This frustrates our post office because the Pulte customers are upset at the post office, in fact, the postal employee that I spoke to guessed that I was a Pulte customer just by the problems I was having! Our post office is not around the corner either - it is a 20 minute drive there and back and IF I'm lucky, I don't have to wait in line for 1/2 an hour to pick up my mail.

It is ridiculous to have to schedule a 2 hour block of time twice per week to pick up my mail and all because Pulte puts the priority on selling the home, without regard to their customer's daily lives.

Also, I don't appreciate the contractors who are still working on building houses on our street, using our water, ruining my grass, peeing in my yard and throwing trash in my yard. They have even had the audacity to take breaks on my front porch and they continually block our driveway by parking right in front of it, when our home is very obviously occupied. I can't talk to the guys directly, as not a one of the speaks English.

Pulte does nothing to prevent these situations - I would advise anyone that wants a Pulte home to build in a development that is nearly finished, not just beginning, because they can't (or won't) control their contractors' employees' behaviors and they don't have their mail boxes organized in the beginning. All these issues are 'new developement' problems, I don't think these would be issues in an already established neighborhood that Pulte is finishing up work on.

Our Pulte Home seems well built,and in general, we are pleased with its construction, with the exception of some of the concrete work on the driveway and the porch.
