This is the worst company I have ever done business with. Think twice before you do business with these people. The owner Lynn Adams is a confirmed alcoholic who was so drunk she did not know what day of the week it was when we arrived to pick up our dog after Christmas vacation. She was verbally abusive and tried to make several unauthorized charges on our credit card. What she didn't know was as soon as she was over 2 hours late and had still not returned our dog we stopped the Credit card because we sensed something was wrong. She also has a drunken voice mail message on the "company" phone line. We learned a lesson here. Do not leave your best friend with people you don't know who are drunks! Stay Farrrrrrr Away!

I would like to respond to the Ripoff report filed on Lynn Adams and puppy pals.
I live on the Westside of Los Angeles, and have been a puppy pals customer for about 10 years - beginning when Lynn ran puppy pals as a dog haven in Topanga Canyon.
Because it's difficult to entrust one's pets to anyone new, I made about 3 unannounced visits to her place over a period of 1 year. I never experienced any behavior that you spoke of.
Yes, she is loopy, and yes she talks a mile a minute like a maniac, but that's part of the package. I never saw her drunk - and I would wager a large sum of money that none of her other long standing customers have either - none that I have spoken to anyway. (there are about 5 of her customers in my neighborhood in the Palisades)
When she moved out of Los Angeles, I sent my dog out to her place for weekend visits..she's the chocolate lab on the website..and I've got to say, she always arrived home deliriously happy, and tired from a great weekend of romping. This dog was timid, but was always happy to see Lynn. Maybe I'm just stupid, but it doesn't seem likely that abused dogs would go running and jumping - excitedly - on their abusers.
She has sharp instincts as well, saving my dog's life with a rapid-fire response to a dangerously adverse reaction from a spider bite.
And over the years, it would have very easy for her to misuse my credit card - ours was on file - but not once.
I'm thinking that perhaps maybe you were having a bad day.
