As written about several times by other ROR members, this company offers a FREE BOTTLE of the weight-loss supplement Garcinia Cambogia Extract. It turns out that, you pay $5.95 for shipping; the bottle is free FOR 14 DAYS. Then they charge you $80. When I called to send the bottle back, the rep (non-native English speaker) informed me that you only have a 14-day window to get a refund. Since the bottle is a 30-day supply, how is that a free bottle by any definition? I cancelled my "subscritption" to any further shipments (they bill you the $80 for a new bottle every 30 days unless you call & cancel).

Bt the way: GNC and other suppliers sell the same stuff for around $25, so their claim that they have a "lowest price guarantee" is BS.

Plus. although it was hailed as a miracle on the Dr. Oz show (true! I watched the episode!) the stuff doesn't work. In fact, I've gained 6 lbs.

So, even with the fine print considered, you do not get a "Free Bottle" in any sense. Since a bottle is presumed to be a full 30-day supply, you only get 13 days of it for free, so that's less than 1/2 a bottle. You can get a free 13-day supply, PRESUMING that they give you an address to return the bottle to! Since the only address is a P.O. Box, you can't even return the bottle after less than 13 days, b/c P.O. Boxes can't accept packages!

I believe, in most US states, the consumer is given a mandatory 30-day guarantee. If the product is defective, you are entitled to credit or cash back. I am goin to send this info. to the Mass. Cosumer Affairs Dept. as well as posting this here.
